Lake Nona's Veterans Celebration - Home of the Brave

Celebrating the veterans among us, the Lake Nona Town Center will be hosting its annual Veterans Celebration.

Welcoming veteran-owned businesses, oversized retired military vehicles, and activities beginning at 5 PM, come honor our heroes! There will also be a ceremony to acknowledge those who serve on a holiday fitting. We hope to see you and yours there!

2021 Veterans Day Parade
The parade, themed "Remembering September 11th," will then take off from the intersection at Robinson Street and carry on throughout downtown Orlando. Starting at Orange Ave., the opening ceremony for the 22nd annual Veterans Day Parade will be led by Mayor Buddy Dyer and his Veterans Advisory Council on Central Blvd.

Veterans Day BBQ
On Veterans Day, honor your heroes by chowing down on good eats with even better company. Come together for an evening at the Maitland Civic Center at 6 PM. Enjoy live music by Performing Arts Matter and the Maitland Symphony Orchestra. Tickets are $5 for adults, $2 for children under 10 and, of course, Veterans are free.

Vino & Vets at the Swirley Wine Bar
Carry on celebrations through to the weekend on Saturday at the Swirlery Wine Bar. Following the parade, continue honoring our heroes with a DJ, guest speakers, silent auction, light bites, and wine. Tickets start at $35 and directly benefit Veterans in the local community through the Heroes Hope Network.

Let‘s get social, Sanford! 🍺

We‘re back for the monthly craft beer community event at Celery City Craft in Sanford! Join other brew lovers in the area for an evening of local craft breweries, taprooms samples, live music, and tasty bites!

A $15 ticket for the Sanford Beer Social gets you in the door with two samples from EACH brewery in hand! Cheers!

The Orlando Beer Festival

We‘re all about fresh air and good brews this weekend with another (but not just another) outdoor festival! Join 3,000 of your best buds at the Orlando Beer Festival and sample craft and premium beers from local breweries in Orlando and all across the US.

Enjoy interactive games, yummy bites, live music, and wine tasting for those who need to switch up their beverage of choice. This event is 21 and up ONLY—but pet-friendly, so leave the kids at home, but please bring your fur-babies! Tickets start at $35—and hurry, they sell out fast!

Millionlights Veterans Day And More Things To Do In Orlando This Weekend 2022
Night of a Million Lights

If you‘re SO over fall, it‘s okay to skip right to the holiday season! With the Night of a Million Lights  debuting this weekend and then carrying on until January, you can snag your tickets to enjoy USA Today‘s “Number One Thing To Do In December In Orlando.”

With this fully immersive holiday lights spectacular at Give Kids The World Village, you can watch the dancing lights show in an 89-acre magical neighborhood—literally featuring millions of lights. The event is sponsored by a non-profit resort for critically ill children and their families around the world.
