Have you always wanted to paint like the pros? This event will help you become the impressionist painter you’ve always wanted to be. Learn how to paint Money’s Lillies from the comfort of the Paint with a Twist studio. This event is BYOB so bring some snacks and your favorite drink and be sure to arrive early to settle in for your happy half hour! Let’s get painting!

2. Vision Board and Brews

One of our favorite things to do in January is making a vision board for the year! Spend the evening decorating your vision board to represent your goals and your roadmap for 2021. The event is BYOB (bring your own board) all other supplies will be provided, plus every participant will receive one cider or mead! Get ready to tackle this new year and meet some awesome ladies along the way.

3. January Haunted History Tour

North Carolina is known for some seriously haunted spots and Charlotte definitely has some haunted history. Join the Charlotte Area Paranormal Society and Historic Rosedale Staff on this rain or shine tour of the Historic Rosedale Plantation to learn about its former residences. The tour will be held outside in the gardens and the grounds surrounding the 1815 house and reconstructed blacksmith shop. Space is limited so be sure to get your tickets early!

4. Crazy for Cake Pops and Cocoa Bombs Workshop

If you’re on social media, you know that cocoa bombs have taken off! They are such a fun way to make hot chocolate. Sign up your little chefs to learn how to make this social media sensation along with rainbow cake pops, perfectly grilled cheese sandwiches, and creamy tomato soup! Sounds like a perfect afternoon for any aspiring cook.

5. Yoga and Brunch at Alchemy

This is the ultimate Sunday morning. Spend your morning with an energizing yoga class followed by brunch by Chef Ken Aponte of Alchemy Restaurant. The class is designed for yogis of all levels! Get moving and then choose from some delicious brunch options like heirloom tomato benedict or french toast and sit back and relax with a mimosa (or kombucha). We don’t know about you, but this sounds like the perfect way to end the weekend!
