Summer is hot hot hot and we are here for it! If you’re looking for a fun place to cool off, head to one of the many different water parks we have here in Orlando!

Slip and slide down thrilling water slides, or chill out in one of the many lazy rivers to choose from! It’s all here in our guide to the best water parks in Orlando to enjoy this summer!

You’ve heard about it, you’ve seen the giant volcano on the side of the road, but now it’s time to pack your sunnies and your swimsuit and check it out! Volcano Bay is your go-to water park to visit this summer that is jam-packed with water slides, wave pools, lounge chairs, and a winding river for those looking to relax.

Speaking of relaxing, you can relax all day while waiting in line, with their new virtual line system! Tap in with your TapuTapu wearable to grab a line time, and hit the pools to catch a wave!

Another new(ish) Orlando favorite has got to be Island H2O Live! Located at the Promenade at Sunset Walk within Margaritaville, here at Island H2O live you can embrace your fun side with body slides, tubes, racing slides, or an interactive splash zone.

Something unique about Island H2O is that you can pick and choose your own music and lighting for a number of attractions, as well as different selfie stations, video booths, and on-ride photo-ops to share on social media! Say cheese!

A typhoon has struck here in Orlando and it’s left us with water slides, a giant wave pool, and river raft rides. Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is one of the 2 water parks at Walt Disney World, is based on a typhoon’s shipwreck, and boasts one of Orlando’s largest wave pools.

If you’re looking for adventure, take a plunge down the Crusher Gusher coaster-like slide, Gangplank Falls, Miss Adventure Falls, or Ketchakiddie Creek for the younger kids.

Currently, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon is closed for the season, but stay tuned for their re-opening date!

Did you know there’s a ski resort in Orlando? It’s at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park! The snow has melted and it has created amazing water slides and rides for the whole family to enjoy! Slide down the Downhill Double Dipper, Slush Gushers, and Snow Stormers, and let the kids have a blast at the Ski Patrol Training Camp.

If you’re feeling brave, take the chairlift up to the top of the mountain and slide down the iconic Summit Plummet, a 12 story, straigt-down body slide! Or you can relax in Melt-Away Bay or Run-Down Rapids with a frosty drink in your hand.

High-speed waterslides, 84,000 square feet of sandy beaches, 2 wave pools, and dolphins? Aquatica Orlando has it all! Here you can experience some of the world’s most thrilling water rides including Ihu’s Breakaway Falls, Riptide Racer, and Dolphin Plunge that will have you speeding past the park’s Commerson’s dolphins.

If wave pools and lazy rivers are more your speed, enjoy a float down Loggerhead Lane past an aquarium of fish, or sit back and enjoy one of the 2 wave pools! Aquatica has some great deals during the summer months the whole family can enjoy!

When you need a nice spot for your kids to cool down for a couple of hours, Champions Splash Park is the place to go! Located in Clermont, this splash pad offers fountains, tunnels, and water interaction for your kids to play in and stay cool this summer!

Admission to the park is only $2, so it’s perfect if you’re looking for water fun on a budget. You can even rent out the splash pad for a couple of hours if you want to plan the ultimate Splash Park party in Clermont!

Located in the heart of International Drive, CoCo Key Water Park is a great, budget-friendly way to explore an amazing water park in Orlando! With a 54,000 sq. ft canopy-covered water park containing 14 slides and rides, you’re sure to have a blast!

CoCo Key is perfect for families and offers two on-site restaurants and a tiki bar for you to grab a cocktail and relax. Planning to bring your little ones? No problem, entry for children under 36 inches tall is complimentary, and there’s a special lagoon created just for them, featuring pint-sized slides and fountains!

Not your traditional water park, Orlando Watersports Complex is a unique park that is designed for wakeboarding, kneeboarding, wakeskating, and waterskiing! OWC is the only park in the US that has 2 cable parks, one for beginners/intermediate, and another for advanced sliders!

Orlando Watersports Complex is perfect for anyone, as they have coaches there to help you develop your wakeboarding skills. If you don’t want to wakeboard, they also have a great inflatable park for the younger ones!

Dolphins, stingrays, and sharks, oh my! At your visit to Discovery Cove, you’ll discover an all-inclusive paradise complete with animal encounters, white sandy beaches, and delicious food. Start your day bright and early and meet exotic birds, curious otters, marmosets, and of course, dolphins.

Admission to Discovery Cove includes all access to their Grand Reef, lazy river, food and frozen drinks, tropical bird aviary, and a scheduled dolphin swim! Relax and recharge at one of the coolest places in Orlando!

Ahoy Mateys! Welcome to Treasure Cove Water Park located at the Westgate Lakes Resort and Spa. With duel 30 ft. waterslides, a 41,000 gallon wave pool, lazy river, and a tiki bar with your favorite cocktails, it’s the perfect place to cool down this summer!

Admission starts at $20 a person, so you can relax knowing your family will have a great time at a low price! Landlubbers and mermaids alike will enjoy the pirate-theming of Treasure Cove Water Park!
