West 6th Street just got a little more exciting with a new pizza spot!

Favorite Pizza just opened in an old liquor store, next to where Hut’s Hamburgers was, and it’s already so popular. The restaurant is slinging out massive pizzas like no one’s business, but you can also get a slice quick if your belly is already full from drinking down the street. They also have a bar with unique beers and drinks, with the frozen aperol spritz being our fav!

📍 801 W 6th St, Austin, TX 78703

The Sushi | Bar Omakase Experience pop-up is becoming a permanent experience in East Austin!

Housed in Bento Picnic, the pop-up was supposed to go back to its roots in LA. But since they were so popular and the waitlist is still so long, they have decided to stay and call Austin their home. Look out for reservations opening to try their 17-course meals.

Trudy’s got a facelift!

The restaurant has been renovated, and even the sign has changed. Is it still true to its Texan roots? Of course! But they also have new menu items and high-end tequilas and cocktails. One thing didn’t change though. They still have Austin’s largest Mexican martini!

📍 8820 Burnet Rd, Austin, TX 78757

The Austin-based taco chain is adding new menu items, and we can’t wait to try them!

Starting August 21, you can order dinner plates and alcohol at Taco Deli. Pastor Yucatan, mole de pollo, and arrachera flank steak are some of the few options to choose from. Drinks will include frozen margs, Palomas, and beers of course!

📍 All over Austin

Hopdoddy is now offering Beyond Burger patties for all you vegetarians!

To kick it off, the burger of the month is “Beyond a Reuben,” made with pastrami-spiced mushrooms, sauerkraut, gruyere cheese, Dijon mustard, pickles, and Russian dressing.

📍 All over Austin

Taquero Mucho | The fun, pink-filled restaurant is coming to North Austin! We aren’t sure just yet on an opening date, but we’ve seen it coming together and are excited to have a second location.

Grimaldi’s | The Domain can always use a new restaurant for us to try, so we are excited to welcome this NYC chain bringing coal-fired pizza to us this fall.

Dutch Bros | Oregon coffee chain Dutch Bros Is expanding all over Austin. Their first location opened in Round Rock, with the others opening soon.

Wax Myrtle | The new Thompson hotel is bring a new poolside restaurant and bar to town. Opening in November, the restaurant will be on the fourth floor of the hotel.
