Valentines Day is no longer just a means for celebration for happy couples and the newly igniting love flames out there. It’s 2023 and we are continuing to honor the holiday with the opportunity to declare our love for our besties and celebrate the people from our inner circle who make our lives just that much better!
Whether you and your girlies already have Galentines Day traditions in place or are starting the celebration for the first time this year, let’s talk where to go and what to do in Philly for the perfect Galentine’s Day!
Does anyone else wish they had a good reason to stay in a local hotel in their own city even though you may have your own apartment right around the corner??
Well Galentine’s Day can be the perfect reason that you’ve been waiting for! What better way to bond with your besties than planning a little mini trip, that’s not too long and not too far, and getting to enjoy some true good old fashion girls time away from home (even if it is just up the street). Fire up the group chat, order the pink heart balloons and sparkly wall decorations, go shopping for some matching pink and red pajama sets, pack up everyone’s favorite wine and chocolatey desserts and hit book for a suite at that fancy hotel that you’ve been dreaming of. While the list of hotels around Center City is seemingly endless, here are some suggested spots to help you narrow down your search and get you ready to make that reservation PRONTO: Sonesta Philadelphia, Four Seasons Philadelphia, AKA Rittenhouse Square, and more!
Now, don’t forget to book some extra add-ons to your stay like massages, spa treatments, and any other pampering opportunities, and of course take plenty of group pics! Let the adult sleepover tradition begin!
I think most of us girls would agree that regardless of relationship status, or day of the year for that matter, nothing quite beats a girls night out on the town with the OG group of besties. Luckily for us, many of Philly’s restaurants and bars love doing special menus or themes for all of our favorite holidays including the beloved Galentine’s Day. YAY.
Check out Blondie, a new bistro in Manayunk that has the perfect, pink, girly aesthetic for a Galentine’s brunch or night out and offers plenty of photo worthy treats and drinks!
It’s still the beginning of the new year and Galentine’s Day can be the perfect opportunity for us girls to get together and motivate each other to kick-start some new healthy habits! RippedPhl is a woman-owned, boutique gym located right off of Rittenhouse Square and on February 10th, they are hosting two Galentine’s Day theme classes at 4:00 & 5:00 p.m. The class will feature a self-love inspired playlist, complimentary post-class rosé, some quick bites from Philly Raw Desserts & a self love care bag to take home. I mean, I can’t think of a reason not to go!
Check out their website for more information regarding the workout and to sign up for your first class!
This Galentine’s Day, rally up your favorite people and plan a get together to create some new memories while learning a new skill or trying out a new activity, such as Cork and Candle’s! Cork and Candle’s is an experimental scent bar, where you can eat, drink and hand pour your own custom scented candles while spending intimate time together as a group!
Go on a group adventure by visiting one of Philly’s newest exhibits, the Museum of Illusions. This attraction is completely unique in it’s own and offers over 60 entertaining exhibits that will immerse you directly into the world of illusions! In honor of Valentine’s Day, they have arranged a Galentine’s Day event for us ladies looking for something fun to do together! Purchase tickets in advance and enjoy complimentary pink prosecco & unlimited valentine’s themed photo opps.
Hey Friends :) I've lived, worked, and played in Philly for the past 7 years and have become quite the little enthusiast! One of my favor...
