So whether you’re bundling up for a date night outside or are bringing the whole fam, we’re excited to share our list of where to watch outdoor movies in Orlando!
With classic films coming out every second Thursday of each month, these free flicks are the perfect opportunity to have some cheap family fun in Winter Park! Bring your own blanket, pick, snacks, and loved ones! Typically, films will be scheduled to air around 7 or 8 PM—with an adjustment depending on the sunset. The next films to be shown are 50 First Dates and Legally Blonde!
Tickets cost $12 for regular GA, $10 for student/senior/military discount, and are free for kids 12 and under!
Whether you‘re coming to join the watch party for a Movie Under the Stars at Avalon Park or trying your hand at the Community Talent Show, starting at 6 PM, the Avalon Park outdoor movie series is a great go-to for all ages! So bring your own chairs, blankets, snacks, and crew and join in on the fun!
The next showing (with FREE popcorn provided) is Sing, on Jan. 28th from 6 to 9 PM. Free to participate, if interested in performing in the talent show, be sure to lock in your time slot with the Talent Show Registration Form.
Grab your lawn chairs, blankets, picnic baskets, and more and head to Movieola at Lake Eola! Located on the east lawn, the City of Orlando hosts a free movie night showcasing a family-friendly movie that everyone can enjoy!
The movie starts at 7pm—their next showing is Frozen II at 7 PM on Feb. 12!
Enjoy an outdoor movie in Orlando with your favorite date at Harry P. Leu Gardens! Every month, Leu Gardens hosts an outdoor movie for only $6 per person and $3 per child. Pack a picnic dinner basket, seating, and yes, alcohol is permitted.
The next movie showing is How to Train Your Dragon on April 1st at 8:30pm. We would suggest to arrive 30 minutes before the movie starts to find a spot in the garden. Don’t forget to get your tickets online before April 1st. Spaces fill up fast!
If you’re in the Oviedo area, this one’s for you! Enjoy a movie night under the stars at the Oviedo Movie in the Park. Located in east Orlando, you’ll want to reserve your ticket and bring the whole family to this free, family-friendly event.
The next family-friendly movie series returns to Center Lake Park on Jan 21st, with Shark Tale at 6:30 PM. Make sure to bring your own chairs, snacks, and refreshments.
Free movie, free popcorn, your shot at trivia, and excellent eats at downtown restaurants? Sounds like the perfect night at Maitland Movie in the Park. The next film is going to be showing on Feb. 12! Check their site to see which one will pop up!
The free movie at Independence Square next to City Park will also feature movie trivia, free popcorn, great food, and an Indian Jones Fedora prize drawing!
At Ivanhoe Brewing Co., you can enjoy a 20 ft. screen for an outdoor movie night! So be sure to bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy the open-air movie while also snacking on delicious bites from local food trucks and browsing small shop vendors!
The movie starts at dusk and will be held every Friday night. Best part? They are completely free!
