Events This Weekend
Calling all Hawks fans! The Atlanta Hawks are playing the Denver Nuggets this Sunday, February 21st and you are not going to want to miss this game! Due to COVID precautions, there is limited seating available.

State Farm Arena
Any history buffs? If yes, you are not going to want to miss Atlanta from the Ashes: Downtown History Tour! Learn all about the history of Woodruff Park and the history behind this area of Downtown Atlanta. This is a free, hour long guided tour and it happens the 1st Thursday and 3rd Saturday of every month!
If you miss the event this week, be sure not to miss the next one happening on March 4th. This tour touches on some of the most historical and influential people in Atlanta’s history as well as historical events that happened in the area.
FEB 20 | 12PM–1PM
Honor Black History Month by taking the African American Burial Grounds Tour at Oakland Cemetery. Oakland Cemetery is one of the most popular spots to go to in the city because of it’s rich history and background. Home to some of the most influential people in our past, this is a must if you’re wanting to learn more about the history of Atlanta.
This tour also takes you around to visit some of Atlanta’s pioneers, including mayors, councilmen, pastors, and founders. Did we mention this event is also free to register for? Count us in!
FEB 21 | 1PM–2PM
Yoga is even better with a view of stingrays and hundreds of fish swimming past! This socially distant yoga class is perfect for yogis of all experience levels. Whether you’re a beginner or an expert, you are going to be challenged and relaxed all at the same time.
Yoga by the Water takes place in the Oceans ballroom and has stunning views of a ton of different sea creatures. The only con is that you might get a little distracted from your poses when you see the sea creatures swim past.
FEB 16 | 6:30PM–7:30PM
Winter, spring, summer & fall are all great seasons but you can’t forget about orchid season! Orchid Daze is happening now though April 11th and these stunning floral creations are a must see when visiting the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
There are thousands and thousands of orchids on display at this time of year and they smell almost as good as they look. Get lost in a garden full of orchids and make sure to check out the Fuqua Orchid’s Center annual exhibition to take a better look at this beauties.

Daily Dose, located in Reynoldstown, has the prettiest aesthetic, the most delicious coffee, and tons of great books to choose from.
