A new week means TONS of awesome things to do in San Antonio for the whole family to enjoy! Keep scrolling to learn more! 

Reminder: Due to COVID-19, we understand there’s not as much going on as normal in our city. But not to worry, there are still plenty of Stuff to Do in San Antonio This Weekend that can be done while social distancing. Be sure to double-check for any updates at events and venues before making plans to head out.

1. Poteet Strawberry Festival

We’re “Berry Extra” and we’re not afraid to show it! This means we’ll be thriving at the 2021 Poteet Strawberry Festival! Will you be thriving with us and living your best life too? While social distancing, of course!

Well, you’re in for an amazing treat, literally! There’ll be loads of vendors on site! We can’t wait to get our hands on the yummy strawberry funnel cakes, strawberry muffins, strawberry lager, and our regular favorites like Chicken on a Stick and Pineapple drinks! (Relax, that’s why we’ve been good with our healthy intentions throughout the year!) 

Plus there are going to be amazing live performances that you don’t want to miss out on, at no additional cost!

2. Vintage Market Days® presents "Sweeter In Vintage"

Shopping is our favorite cardio, is it yours too? It’s the best way to keep our healthy intentions going throughout the year and we’ve found the perfect place to get our steps in! 

We’ll be wearing our hats, shades, and comfy shoes at the Vintage Market Days of Greater San Antonio hoping to find that special one-of-a-kind piece!

This event will showcase a variety of designers, artisans, craftsmen that will offer amazing items such as antiques, clothing, home décor, and much much more. Seasonal planting is on our list and we’re hoping to get our hands on some beautiful Ranunculus! They have spring written all over them.

Shopping always gets us hungry but don’t worry, there will be tons of food vendors as well and we’re ready to snag some gourmet popcorn!

This event is kid and pet friendly too! Hope you score some great pieces!

3. Bluebonnet Extravaganza Dinner & Auction

“Help Protect Our Hill Country.”

You definitely don’t want to miss out on the 2nd annual Bluebonnet Extravaganza Dinner & Auction at the delightful Milltown Historic District this Friday to help out a great cause!

If you’re tired of wearing loungewear, you’ll get to showcase your “Hill Country Dressy” style by wearing your bolos, boots, and hats! It’ll be the perfect evening to enjoy adult refreshments, gourmet food, and great entertainment. Plus, there will also be a silent and live auction, all to support the “fight against the proposed Vulcan quarry.”

The event will be hosted by Friends of Dry Comal Creek and Preserve Our Hill Country Environment in hopes to bring awareness and educate on the “long-term impacts of poorly regulated open-pit aggregate mining in Texas.”

Most of the event will be held outside, it’ll give you the chance to enjoy the beautiful scenery, fresh air, and give everyone enough space to social distance. CDC Covid-19 protocols will be followed in order to ensure the safety of everyone in attendance.

This event will be extremely limited, make sure to grab your tickets while they’re still available!

4. Morning Flow with Alamo City Yoga

Our healthy intentions keep thriving, and Springtime is our favorite for outdoor activities like walks, hikes, and yoga!

Every Saturday from now until April 24th you’ll be able to enjoy a great workout with Alamo City Yoga in the beautiful scenic Botanical Garden.

All levels are welcome to join in on the action. You’ll start with a meditative 10-minute walk enjoying the fresh air, beautiful sun, and tranquil space. Followed by a 50-minute “intentional flow” that’ll help us balance our posture, sync our breathing, and so much more!

Don’t forget to bring your mat, towel, sunscreen, and plenty of water to stay hydrated!

Also happening at the San Antonio Botanical Garden on 04/10: 

  • Merriwether Foraging Workshop
  • Trek and Tone (Saturdays)
  • Pop-Up Culinary Demo

5. Josh Abbott Band (21+ Event) (Reduced Capacity, Social Distancing)

Grab your hat, shine your boots, and let’s head on over to the Whitewater Amphitheater in New Braunfels. We’re ready to officially welcome Spring in with our singing and dancing to the amazing Josh Abbott Band!

We know it’ll be a “one of a kind” experience, enjoying the performance under the stars and by the Guadalupe River. Here’s to hoping we get to hear our favorites like “Oh, Tonight” and “She’s Like Texas.”

If you whip up an appetite don’t worry, because 2021 Concert Season vendor Pueblo Viejo will be offering all of your favorites like Carne Asada Tacos, juicy Burgers, Churros, and sooo much more! Check out the MENU!
