WPA Juneteenth Homecoming

Poetry Unplugged: A Juneteenth Celebration
Not your average poetry night at the August Wilson Center downtown. This night will be filled with slam poetry, music, food, and more! It is an 18+ event due to some potential sensitive content. But it will definitely be a night to remember!

Act 48: Juneteenth: From Slavery to Freedom
Are you an educator looking for more professional development? Head down to the Heinz History Center to deepen your understanding of Juneteenth and it’s history. Museum staff will share primary resources and local stories. You’ll leave with curriculum materials to help connect with your classroom. Be sure to register before spots fill up!

Our two favorite words, Drag and Brunch! Trace Brewing is hosting a Juneteenth inspired drag brunch and it’s a show you won’t want to miss!
