Light up the night with Garden Lights, Holiday Nights! Even if you’ve been to the Atlanta Botanical Garden before, you haven’t seen it like this. This is an Atlanta favorite and it’s also the world’s largest curtain of synchronized light and sound!
Experience the larger than life plants all lit up this holiday season. This event is taking place through January 11th, and is even open on Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s.
If you’re looking for other similar events similar, Candlelight Nights and the Atlanta Chinese Lantern Festival are other great options! With Candlelight Nights, walkthrough the lit-up gardens and admire the decorations at the Atlanta History Center. The Atlanta Chinese Lantern Festival will show you holiday lights like you have never seen them before at Centennial Olympic Park.

Explore Atlanta’s Christkindl Market at Centennial Olympic Park! This is the city’s first and largest winter Holiday festival. Enjoy authentic German food and beverages, shop around for gifts for loved ones, take family photos by the giant tree, and sip on some hot cocoa.

Centennial Olympic Park
Watch the magical story of the Nutcracker come to life with the help of incredible music, beautiful dancing, and a big imagination. Atlanta Ballet’s The Nutcracker is at the Fox Theatre from December 7th through the 24th.
It’s the most wonderful time of the beer. Wait…we mean it’s the most wine-derful time of the year. We just can’t get it right. Anyway, the Pub Crawl on the BeltLine is happening again but this time, it’s the Winter Edition!

Atlanta BeltLine Eastside Trail
Believe in your elf and run (or walk) the Atlanta Christmas 5K & 1K Elf Run with over 2000 fellow Atlantans!
This is an Atlanta tradition that you are not going to want to miss. A portion of the proceeds from this run are going to YMCA, local churches, and other local charities.
Don’t forget your Santa hat on your way out the door!

Yule be sorry if you miss out on Six Flag’s Holiday in the Park! It’s LIT. There are over 1 million LED lights to light up the park and tons of Christmas trees! There will also be festive shows, yummy food, and even be a special guest…Santa Clause!
You can still enjoy all of the rides in the park while you’re there. It is going to be so much fun! Don’t miss this special event.

Six Flags Over Georgia
Looking for something fun to do with friends and family? Why not grab your ice skates and go ice skating at Atlantic Station! This ice skating rink is the largest outdoor ice skate rink in the Southeast. You can buy tickets ahead of time to skip the line. This is sure to be fun for the whole family!
If you’re looking for another fun outdoor event, Ponce City Roof is hosting Skate the Sky. There is also going to be an opportunity to have dinner in an Igloo!
