Your Guide To St. Patrick’s Day In Atlanta

We are seeing green this week! St. Patrick’s Day is this Sunday and we are ready to celebrate! Atlanta will be spreading the luck around and pouring all the green beer! From Block Party’s to Road Races, this will be one St. Paddy’s Day you won’t forget!
Here are some of the best green-themed events happening in Atlanta!

1. St.Patrick’s Green Mile Block Party

Start your weekend with Atlanta’s largest St. Paddy’s Day party going down in Midtown’s Entertainment district! With over 20+ bars and restaurants participating, this will be the best way to kick off the holiday celebrations. Tickets include complimentary themed drinks or shots, drink specials, themed food specials, and no cover at the bars. Enjoy live music and great DJ’s at the various locations as you dance the night away in your party beads! Maps with the food and drink info will be available at registration.

2. Lucky Leprechaun Buckhead

Looking for that large pot of gold? Well, we have found the end of the rainbow right in the middle of Buckhead! Lucky Leprechaun is kickin’ off the holiday weekend a day before. This will be an Irish themed bar crawl through the best bars in Buckhead. Tickets will include complimentary shots, drink specials, live music, and holiday-themed food! Tickets will increase to $30 this Wednesday, so we suggest grabbing some ASAP!

3. Shamrock N’ Roll Road Race

Go for the gold while wearing your green! The Shamrock N’ Roll Road Race is back for their 15th year on Saturday! It’s going to be a great event for the whole fam as there will be a kid’s 1k fun run, a 5k, and a 10k! PLUS, dogs and strollers will be welcome. The race is being held at Atlantic Station with free parking for the first two hours at their spacious parking garage! Registration will also be available the day of the event.

4. St. Patrick’s Day Live!

The Battery is being taken over by everything green this Saturday night! Live at The Battery is no stranger to holiday celebrations and will be pulling out all the stops for St. Patrick’s day. Cheers to a night of fun with live music, drink specials, and GREEN BEER all night long! There are two ticket options available. The Shamrocks & Shenanigans ticket will grant you entrance to Sports & Social and PBR Atlanta, live music, and drink specials. The Lucky Charms ticket option will include all of the above PLUS Irish themed food from 6PM–10PM! Parking will be available at the Red Deck garage.

5. Luck of The Square

Colony Square has been killing it with their holiday events and they are throwin’ it down again for St. Paddy’s day! The day starts out at 10AM to cheer on the St. Patrick’s Day 5k runners (event link & info below), which begins and ends at Colony Square. We suggest taking this time to also walk around and check out the square before you settle in to watch the Atlanta St. Patrick’s Day Parade at 12PM (also below)! Post-parade, the Plaza will turn into the ultimate party destination. There will be live music, adult and family activities, and some festive beer and fare!
