Gulfport’s quirkiest tradition is back — and it’s bigger, bolder, and weirder than ever! The 25th Annual GeckoFest is taking over Beach Boulevard for a full day of live music, jaw-dropping street performances, local art, and delicious eats.
This year’s theme, “25 Years & Still Weird,” celebrates everything we love about Gulfport’s creative, bohemian vibe. Think aerialists, acrobats, magicians, fire-eaters, dancers, and costumed characters bringing the energy from morning to night. You’ll also find rows of local vendors, unique shopping, tasty bites, and refreshing drinks all day long.
Costumes? Highly encouraged. Show off your creativity in the wacky walking parade at 6:00 PM, then stick around for a birthday bash honoring G. Gordon McFly, Gulfport’s famous gecko sculpture.
Part of Gecko World, this feel-good festival supports local nonprofits and keeps Gulfport’s community spirit alive.
The best part? Admission and parking are completely free, with courtesy shuttles available from off-site locations.
