Honey Tasting with Hudson Hives

In partnership with Hudson Hives, Studio by Garden Streets presents a Honey Sensory Tasting Workshop!  During this workshop, you will be guided through the tastes, textures, smells and flavors of 4 different honeys.

You'll gain an appreciation for bee's honey-making process, different floral sources and the resulting honeys.  We will use honey as our guide to strengthen your senses and palate as you identify a rainbow of colors and flavors and learn how to best pair honeys with different foods.

We will also celebrate the amazing relationship between honeybees and flowers.  Guests will try to match honey tasted with bees' nectar source.  You will also learn fun bee facts and a chance to vote for your favorite honeys.

Hudson Hives is a small family run apiary located in Hudson, MA where they raise honey bees using sustainable beekeeping practices:  harvesting honey in small batches the old fashion way.  Honey is raw, unfiltered, unpasteurized which retains all of the antioxidants, amino acids and pollen that is lost in large-scale produced honey.

Note: This workshop is also great for couples, date night and families.  If you plan to share the honey, please purchase a single full ticket and guest tickets (without additional honey) for the rest of your party. 

Materials Included: 4 different types of honeys provided by Hudson Hives for you to taste and take home, tasting spoons, tasting chart, palate cleanser
