Description

Let's rock!

The Jacksonville Rock Orchestra is a 27-piece symphony orchestra married to a traditional bass, drums, guitar, keyboards and vocals rock band. They are dedicated to interpreting the hit songs of the Classic Rock era in symphonic arrangements.

Although they only released 8 albums in 10 years, Led Zeppelin’s influence cannot be overstated, and the Jacksonville Rock Orchestra’s arrangements of hits such as “Stairway to Heaven, “Whole Lotta Love” and “Kashmir” captures the essence of the band that Rolling Stone called, “The heaviest band of all time.”

Journey were one of the biggest pop/rock bands of the late 70s and 80s, and are still a significant touring act, but the Jacksonville Rock Orchestra’s treatment of arena anthems like “Don’t Stop Believing” and “Wheel in the Sky,” and ballads like “Open Arms” and “Lights” will make you hear their music in a different way.

Fleetwood Mac began as a British blues band but evolved into one of the most successful rock bands ever. The Jacksonville Rock Orchestra’s performance of hits like “Go Your Own Way,” “Rhiannon,” “Dreams” and “You Make Loving Fun” demonstrate why these songs are destined to be timeless classics.

There are three shows in this summer's lineup:

  • 6/4 - The Music of Led Zeppelin
  • 7/11 - Landslide: A Tribute to the Music of Fleetwood Mac
  • 8/8 - Faithfully: The Music of Journey

This summer is not the series to miss! Get your tickets for these events now! Ticket info per each event is available on our platform.
