Save the date for Friends of the Riverwalk’s July 4th Boat Parade!
Celebrate Independence Day with Friends of the Riverwalk during a full day of patriotic festivities on Thursday, July 4, 2025. This exciting event features a July 4th Boat Parade, Water Ski Show, Blessing of the Fleet, and a grand fireworks finale.
The boat parade will follow a similar route to the annual Holiday Light Boat Parade, beginning in the Convention Center basin, passing through the Heights, and concluding at Sparkman Wharf. Boats will be decorated in red, white, and blue and compete for the title of “Most Patriotic Boat,” with prize bags awarded to all registered participants.

Please note: umbrellas are allowed, but outside chairs and coolers are prohibited. Tickets and registration are nonrefundable. The event is rain or shine, and there is no rescheduled date.
