Pathology: Behind the Scenes of a Diagnosis
Dr. Xiaoyin “Sara” Jiang, MD, FCAP
Dr. Xiaoyin “Sara” Jiang, MD, FCAP, is Professor of Pathology at the University of South Florida and Senior Staff Pathologist at Ruffolo, Hooper, and Associates. Her areas of expertise are cytopathology and surgical pathology of the head and neck and endocrine systems, thyroid molecular testing, ultrasound-guided FNA, and novel applications of social media for medical professionals. She has authored multiple book chapters as well as co-authoring the Survival Guide to Cytopathology. She has been honored with local and national awards for teaching, resident advocacy, and mentorship, and has lectured nationally and internationally on thyroid molecular testing, head and neck pathology, and novel uses of social media.
