If you haven’t been to Bern’s Steak House, are you even from Tampa? This iconic spot on South Howard has been setting the bar for fine dining since 1956 — and trust us, it’s an experience, not just a meal.
From perfectly aged, hand-cut steaks to one of the largest wine collections in the world (yep, over half a million bottles!), Bern’s is where every bite and sip feels special. Our go-to order? The Chateaubriand for Two — it’s rich, tender, and basically melts in your mouth. Pair it with a glass (or two) of red from their legendary cellar and thank us later.
But here’s the real insider move: save room for dessert. After dinner, head upstairs to the Harry Waugh Dessert Room, where you’ll cozy up in private wine-barrel booths for indulgent sweets and dessert wines. We’re obsessed with the macadamia nut ice cream — it’s a Tampa classic!
