Father company of Chamblin's Uptown, Chamblin Bookmine is independent bookstore, founded in 1976, with an enormous, ever growing, inventory of books of all genres and ages 📕📚📘 Chamblin's sells both used & new, collectible &  out-of-print, and other forms of media (DVDs, CDs, Vinyl, etc.) 💿 With two retail locations and a warehouse in Jacksonville, Florida, they have estimated we have upwards of a few million books (the majority of which are not inventoried) 🤯 Their goal is to give readers access to whatever might interest them, and the ability to find it naturally—outside of the neatly curated box stores and online marketplaces.  

Famous for their book trading service, they offer a system where they will "buy" your books or other media in exchange for a store credit amount usable at either of their locations 🫱🏾‍🫲🏼💸 If you're looking for something specific, they are happy to search their large collection for you—their website only shows a small amount of their stock, so feel free to shoot them an email or give them a call‼️

Chamblin’s is awesome! I love that you can find popular books second hand. I want to grow my personal library but it can feel expensive and wasteful. I have both bought and sold books here and have had a wonderful experience! The cafe is the perfect spot to sip & read as well! 📚☕️

When I have friends and family in town, I always take them here! This is such a hidden gem and not any ordinary bookstore. It is fun to get lost in Chamblin’s and there are so many little corners with lounge chairs where you can study or grab a book and get a head start. This location also has a cafe!
