Description

TacoLu opened in 2008 in a little building on Beach Boulevard 🛣️ Aside from the fact that no one could pronounce the name, the American economy was tanking, and most people thought it was "just plain silly to open a business in these conditions." That said, the owners of TacoLu still thought it was a worth a shot 💪🏼 It was either open their own place or go to work for someone else, and so they were off! 🤩

It took a while, but the Lu eventually gained a life of its own (and quite an extensive Tequila list in the process) 🌵 After 5 years in the original location, with an unbelievable amount of patronage and support, TacoLu grew into their current building, the site of the old Homestead Restaurant, which has SO MUCH history and excitement attached to it! 🌟

Plus, they have BRUNCH 😍 Check out their brunch, that's also a happy hour, Saturdays and Sundays from 10 AM-2 PM 🥂 Speaking of happy hour, join their happy hours 2-7 PM Tuesday-Friday!

TacoLu has grown to be a Jacksonville favorite! Everyone all over the city LOVES this place, and that's saying a lot because we know that it's hard for people in Jax to leave their burrows 🪹 If that doesn't tell you that TacoLu is a place that you have to add to your list, we don't know how else to convince you. Grab a friend and get over here 🏃🏽‍♀️💨
