Since 2013, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union has held the naming rights to the Live Nation Amphitheatre, Tampa’s most iconic open-air concert venue. Operated by Live Nation, the world’s leading live entertainment company, this premier venue is a go-to destination for major national tours, top-charting artists, and high-energy music festivals across all genres.

Located on the Florida State Fairgrounds, just off Interstate 4 on the eastern side of Tampa, the amphitheatre features both reserved seating and an expansive general admission lawn area, offering a range of viewing experiences. With a capacity of approximately 20,000 guests, it’s one of the largest concert venues in Florida and hosts everything from rock and country to hip-hop and pop under the open sky.

Known for its lively atmosphere, convenient location, and top-tier production quality, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union Amphitheatre continues to be a cornerstone of Tampa Bay’s live music scene.

Things to know:

Gates: Gates open one hour before ticketed showtime.
Bag policy: Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (6” x 9”) are allowed. These small clutch bags do not need to be clear.
Lawn chairs: No outside lawn chairs are permitted. Lawn chairs are available to rent, subject to availability.
Mobile ticketing: Your phone is your ticket. Make sure to download your tickets into your mobile wallet and transfer them to friends. Tickets are non-transferable for this show.
Cashless: All points of sale will only accept credit or debit cards.
Re-entry: Re-entry is not permitted.

Pro seating tips:

Reserved seating space: Fans say the best viewing experience is right in front of the stage (Sections 1-3) or in Sections 5, 6, and 9 if you want a great view without being directly in front. For most events, reserved or VIP seating includes pre-set chairs offering comfort, leg room, and elbow room.

Lawn space policies: The lawn is ideal for fans who want space to dance, relax, and have easy access to exits. Lawn access is always first-come, first-served. While lawn tickets may display a row or seat number, these are only for tracking purposes—there are no assigned lawn seats. Arrive early for the best view.

Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC tote bags (max 12” x 6” x 12”) and/or small clutch bags (max 4.5” x 6.5”)
Blankets
Cameras (nonprofessional, no detachable lenses)
Small umbrellas or parasols

Parking advisory for concerts at MIDFLORIDA:

The Orient Road entrance is currently under construction. Only Premier, Ultra Premier, Valet, and VIP Parking may use Orient Road. All General Admission patrons must enter via the MLK Entrance or the US-301 Entrance.

ADA Parking: Available across the street from the east side main entrance at no additional charge. ADA guests may enter via Orient Road. Note: Arriving before 3:00 PM may incur a $20 early parking fee from the Florida State Fairgrounds for general admission.
