Artipasta is more than just plain pasta. The chefs handcraft delicious homemade pasta and pay lots of attention to detail when it comes to making sure each ingredient is the right amount. People rave about the quality of food and can recognize the attention and detail that goes into making each dish an extraordinary eating experience. Of course, everything off the menu is delicious, but one in particular is the gnocchi al Pomodoro con mozzarella. The tomato sauce is made in house topped with fresh mozzarella. This place is a must to add to your list of Italian Restaurants in South Austin.

Mandola’s is a place of tradition and history. It all started 40 years ago at a little restaurant in Huntsville, Texas. The current owner and their mother would always cook recipes that were passed along within the family. The same recipes passed along in the family are used today at Mandola’s Italian. People can taste the history and goodness in each meal. Not only is each meal delicious but the menu is very extensive, with something everyone will love. From soups, chicken, different meats, and pasta, the menu is sure to not disappoint! Aside from the restaurant there is a grocery store, deli, bakery, and café that people can explore. One of many personal favorites on my list of Italian Restaurants in South Austin.

Grab a friend or date and take them to Lucky’s Italian Sandwiches! This place has great fair pricing and a fun atmosphere. The food is always served fresh as the bread is homemade and baked in a oak wood fired oven when you order your choice of meal. All of the homemade sandwiches, puccias and pizzas are made in a traditional, southern Italian style. The puccia are round pieces of bread baked in a brick oven filled with various meats, cheeses, and vegetables to make a sandwich. The pizzas you could order how they come off the menu or customize it to your liking. Although it may be tempting to eat until you’re stuffed, make sure to safe room for the dessert inspired Nutella sandwich. It is a must to try.
