With the Holiday season fast approaching, we all have some extra stressors on our plates. We personally don’t know of any better way to wind down than to have a glass of wine with some friends to add something yummy to those plates. So, we’ve made the perfect list to combat whatever is ailing you. You’ll have to check out these wine bars in the Heights Houston!
Pairing wine is an art – the best art – and We Olive & Wine does it best! They are located in the Historic Heights shopping district and offer amazing wine, olive oils, spices, and other specialty foods. Whether it is Wine Wednesday or Rose All Day Thursday, or any other day of the week, it is always fun to pair your wines with some yummy snacks! I personally think the prosciutto-wrapped dates are to die for.

Postino Heights has made our Wine Bars in the Heights list because it is just downright cool! With hundreds of 5-star reviews, this is a wine bar where you don’t need to take yourself so seriously. It is laid back and filled with the friendliest people you will ever come across – and that’s not just the wine talking! Order some bruschetta to pair with your delicious wine and truly enjoy your evening with friends at this all-around happy place. ?

Take a step out of Houston, and step into wine country! Mutiny Wine Room is an experience comparable to those in Napa Valley, California! A date night, girls’ night, a celebration, whatever it may be, Mutiny Wine Room is a fun place to experience new wines and feel fancy! When tasting at Mutiny Wine Room, you’ll get the opportunity to taste exclusive limited-production wines that are unique to Mutiny! This place is a bit fancier than the rest on our Wine Bars in the Heights list, but it can’t be missed.

Next up on our favorite Wine Bars in the Heights list is Trez Bistro & Wine Bar! This place has a unique focus on philanthropy and community. Enjoy live entertainment, a beautiful glass of wine, and exquisite works of art on display by local artists! We love everything about Trez Bistro & Art. The chefs absolutely know what they’re doing, and their wine selection is SO good. Not to mention you can support your local Houstonian artist while you dine! ? ?

The Post Beer and Wine Garden is a cute little location that offers boutique wine. It has made our favorite Wine Bars in the Heights list because their focus is to bring unique wine from all across the world, and as a result, their wine selection is truly unmatched. At The Post, the menu rotates often giving you a chance to try all new flavors with the changes of the seasons, so they have something for everyone! The wine menu is truly extensive, with multiple pages of wine from all over the world.
You should definitely experience this one.

Whether you are new to the wine scene, or you’re a veteran–Reata Cellars is the place for you. A bit different than some of the other places on our Wine Bars in the Heights list, the goal of Reata Cellars is to expand your palette in a chill environment, and if you find a wine you like, you can take it home with you! They pride themselves on being an environment where anyone can come to learn, so if you are intimidated by wine but really want to get into it, this is definitely the place for you. The building is filled with unique artwork and you will definitely feel right at home while you get to taste some amazing new flavors.

Savoir is one of the more upscale places on our Wine Bars in the Heights list, but their mission is to provide an upscale yet unpretentious environment for families and friends to experience great food and wine, and to make long-lasting memories. With Savoir meaning “the ability to live life elegantly,” this incredible establishment definitely delivers. Their wine menu is robust with bottles from all over the United States and the world. The interior is beautiful, and you can even book private events here!

As you can see, there are plenty of incredible wine bars in the Heights for you to try. Allow yourself to wind down before the holiday season starts!
