The summer has flown by but it is not over yet. We hope you’ve taken advantage of all of the warm days by coffee shop hopping, having a picnic in Piedmont Park, frolicking through the Botanical Gardens, and spending a lot of time by the pool. We know we have!
While it feels like we look forward to summer all year long, the post summer events are just as HOT. We’ve got no shortage of concerts, sports events, festivals, markets, intro classes, and more for you to fill up your weekends with in the coming months.
Events Tickets Center is a secondary ticket marketplace that wants to help you not only secure a ticket but secure a seat. They’ve brought us some of the best events in the city that they want to help you be a part of. As you’re dreading going back to school, work picking up, or losing some of that tan you’ve worked on all summer, don’t lose hope on the event side of things. Calling all pop punk and rock fans that are ready for a little bit of nostalgia. Some of the greats from Fall out Boy to Carr are coming to take over Lakewood with their top hits. Fall out Boy has been around since the early 2000’s with their hit songs like “Sugar, we’re goin down” and guest appearances on shows like One Tree Hill. They were even recently featured on Taylor Swift’s most recent re-recorded album, Speak now (Taylor’s Version.)
These bands have been influential to the pop punk and alternative music space for quite some time and have a long term devoted fanbase. Their current tour, “So much for (tour) dust” is promised to live up to all of the hype. Lakewood amphitheater is located in Atlanta and has a variety of seating options from assigned seats to a spot for you and your crew in the grassy field.

Take me out to the ball game! Our Atlanta Braves are what summer is all about. From pre or post game hangs at PBR and Punch Bowl Social to Dippin’ Dots during the game, you can’t beat the sunny days at Truist Park.
The Brewers are coming to town from the 21st-31st with lots of day time and night time game opportunities to see them. Before we know it, the season will come to an end so grab that red and blue while you can. Truist Park is full of yummy eats and spots for you to wander making for the perfect summer day!

The Broadway classic, Wicked the musical, is coming to ATL! You know the tale of the Wizard of Oz, but we guarantee you haven’t seen it from this perspective. It explores the woman they call good and the woman they call… you guessed it… wicked.
This show is recommended for ages 8 and up and is a 2 hour and 45 minute long production with a 15 minute intermission breaking it up. The Fox Theatre is in the heart of Midtown near local spots Henry’s Midtown Tavern, Zocalo, and Piedmont Park. Come see what went down before Dorothy while you can!

Are you ready for the Highway Desperado Tour?? Jason Aldean is coming with Mitchell Tenpenny, Corey Kent, and Dee Jay Silver to bring the country to Lakewood. You know this Grammy nominated artist from his songs “Dirt Road Anthem” and “She’s country.” He’s bringing all those classics you love along with some of his newer hits from albums “Georgia” and “Macon.”
One thing we can promise is there’s no better spot for a country concert than an outdoor venue. It’s perfect for snagging a cold one, dancing around with your friends, and pulling out those boots you’ve been dying to wear. This 4000 seater venue is full of assigned spots and 75 acres of field for you to fill up with your lawn chairs and blankets. Grab those tickets below and we’ll see you under the night sky!

Sometimes you just need a good laugh and we are here to give it to you. Tucked away inside Midtown’s The Vortex is the Laughing Skull comedy lounge. The Laughing Skull hosts in town touring comics and locals trying to make it depending on the night. They do open mic nights and “Best of’s” like the one you see here.
Their Best of Atlanta showcases are a weekend full of a variety of shows with evening and late night options. From this show, you can expect to see 8 comedians doing their best for 10 minute sets. Plus… sometimes there’s a surprise guest. That means if one of your favorite comics is in town, they could pop in. Please note that these shows are 21+.

Cellairis Bank Amphitheatre:
This venue is not close to any pre-show dining destinations within immediate walking distance, so we recommend eating before or after.
There are traditional concession stands throughout the venue with drink and food options like cheeseburgers and nachos.
The maximum bag size is 16″x16″x8″.
Truist Park:
Gates open two hours before the first pitch.
Truist Park does not have a retractable roof but there is AC in the bathroom and fans along the stadium, so prepare for the heat.
Parking locations are all around the park starting at $10 for 3-4 hours and going up to $30 for 6-24 hours.
The day of the games, you should park at either the Red, Green, Purple, or Yellow deck.
Outside food can be brought into the stadium but it is only one bag of food or unopened water bottle per ticket.
The Fox Theatre:
This is a venue you should definitely arrive early for as it is in the middle of the city, has limited parking, and can consist of heavy traffic.
Proof of vaccination is not required, but the theater recommends wearing a mask throughout the shows.
The lobby doors open one hour before each performance.
You must have your cell phone silent or turned off before each show begins.
Food, drinks, video cameras, cameras, glass bottles, and weapons of any kind are prohibited.
The Laughing Skull:
This is the smallest full time comedy venue in the world, making the shows intimate and special. This means, arrive and secure a seat early!
This club, along with the restaurant it is inside of is 21+ only!
The rules are simple. No smoking, eating, and heckling. Drinking is allowed!
There is a 2 drink minimum per person that is not limited to just alcohol.
