?? Pawsome St. Pete Dog Parks ?

Is your dog your absolute best friend? ? Do you want them to live their best life? If you answered yes to any of these, then it’s only right you start planning a few visits to the St. Pete dog parks!

Whether your furry friend is looking for a place to socialize with other dogs or just a spot to roam around for some off-leash fun, we’ve created a guide of 6 paw-some dog parks in St. Pete.

Here’s our list of 6 St. Pete dog parks to take your four-legged friend.

North Shore Park

? @captfinley

If you’re all about the views, North Shore is your place for St. Pete dog parks. Not only can your pooch run around in the small or large dog area, but you can also soak up some beautiful scenery of Tampa Bay. The dog park at North Shore is a poppin’ place where a lot of the Downtown St. Pete apartment dogs are able to run freely. If your pup is up for it, after playing catch at the dog park, head down to the path along the Bay and you might even spot a dolphin or two!

Lake Vista

? @ruffdays_stpete

The dog park at Lake Vista is great. There’s so much space for your pup to have fun wild and be free. Lake Vista dog park also makes for a perfect place to play fetch. This park is excellent for running, walking, getting into an outdoor workout, enjoying a picnic, and so much more. Text your dog-owner friends and plan a fun day of outdoor activities at Lake Vista!

Crescent Lake

? @harrietthedoglibrarian

For more of a neighborhood dog park vibe, Crescent Lake is the spot to be. The dog park itself has awesome views of the lake and beautiful banyan trees. We recommend taking a long walk around Crescent Lake before or after the dog park for a relaxing and scenic view of ducks, otters, frogs, and an array of Florida birds all around.

The dog park conveniently has designated small and large dog areas so your little fluff doesn’t have to worry about getting stomped on by your friends’ mini horse! Crescent Lake Park also has tennis courts, a baseball field, and a playground.

Coquina Key

? @thugsthefrenchie

Coquina Key Park has a lot to offer, and their dog park is a major hit! If you’re looking for a more laid-back and peaceful park, surrounded by nature, this is the perfect park for you. Coquina Key’s dog park is top-notch and very well-maintained. It doesn’t get too crowded either.

Coquina Key Park also has tennis, soccer, and basketball courts, a playground, picnic tables, grills, covered shelters, and more. There’s even a small dock for fishing or launching your kayak. The vibe at Coquina Key is nature-focused with friendly folks all around!

Kenwood Dog Park

? @ruffdays_stpete

Your dog will love Kenwood Dog Park if they’re itching to run off some energy. The huge space is perfect for active dogs. The location under a few overpasses has the perk of major shaded areas to cool off and stay out of the sun, but the highway also makes this park noisier than the rest. Kenwood Dog Park is ideal for bigger dogs that need to run off energy and stay active. That’s not to say you can’t bring your little pooch, as there’s a small dog area too!

Hours & Location

Daily | 30 minutes before sunrise and closes 30 minutes after sunset

?401 20th St N, St. Petersburg, FL 33713

Walter Fuller Park

? @bundleobailey

Walter Fuller Park is the ultimate park for a picnic with your pup and friends! There’s plenty of shade with beautiful, large trees all around or under the covered picnic area, plus there’s a lovely lake with wildlife left and right. The dog park offers wide open spaces for your canine to have some fun with other pups.

The local, community feeling is very nice and relaxed here with families picnicking, young children at the playground, and a ton of dogs! The facilities like the baseball and soccer fields, and tennis and pickleball courts, are well-kept. You’ll also notice there are so many gorgeous plants all around the park. If you’re a nature bug, you and your dog will love Walter Fuller Park!
