Are you looking for a fun time with your friends? Make sure to stop by Bryan Street Tavern in East Dallas. They have an indoor area with pool tables, TVs, and an outdoor area featuring a covered patio, beach volleyball, connect four, boji ball, and so much more! It’s the perfect spot to catch a sports game with your friends, listen to some live music, or just hang out on the weekends. Also, don’t forget to try their pizza while you’re there. It’s so delicious!! They even offer takeout.
Visit Weinberger’s Deli in Grapevine, TX for the ultimate sandwich fix! Voted the Best Chicago Deli in Texas this is a must-try! Choose from over 100+ sandwiches. There are so many delicious combinations. Some of our favorites are the Italian Sub, the Cheesesteak, and Weinberger Reuben. Make sure to get a side of their Mustard Potato Salad.
Visit Madina Mediterranean Grill for the best Shawarma, freshly made hummus, and housemade falafel in DFW. This hidden gem is located in Richardson and is a must-try. Some of our favorites are the Chicken Shawarma, the Chicken Bowl with rice, their Hummus, and the Falafel. We highly recommend getting a side of their garlic sauce. It’s so good!
If you’re loving Italian food as much as we do and have never been to Jimmy’s Food Store, then you’re really missing out! We love coming to this hidden gem in Dallas. They have a huge selection of imported Italian goods, as well as great wine, fresh local produce, fresh meats and cheese, and an amazing selection of homemade pizzas, sauces, pasta, pastries, and more. They also offer freshly made-to-order sandwiches. Some of our favorites are their homemade frozen lasagna and their Prosciutto Panino. They’re serving their freshly made sandwiches daily from 10:00am to 6:30pm.
Taco lovers, you’re in for a treat! We’ve found a hidden gem taqueria located in a small convenience store on Ceasar Chavez Boulevard that you can’t miss out on. Taqueria El Arquito is a family-owned business with seven locations in the DFW area. We highly recommended trying their famous trompo tacos made with their unique family recipe. Some of our other favorites are the Torta Cubana, Mi Special, Gordita, and their delicious Horchata.
Visit Havana’s favorites in Carrollton! Founded over 30 years ago, Cuban Dulceria has been serving the community authentic Cuban delicacies. Step into mini Havana and explore the culture through hand-baked pastries, Cuban sandwiches, Cafe-Cubano, and so much more! Some of our favorites are the Guava & Cheese Pastry, the Cuban Sandwich, and the Cafe con Leche.
If you’re looking for a great place to hang out with your friends while watching sports games, playing pool, arcade games, and enjoying local beers on tap, Sylvan Ave Tavern is the perfect place to go! The little sister of Bryan Street Tavern spreads out over multiple levels with a beautiful covered patio and a rooftop terrace with amazing skyline views. Enjoy delicious pizzas, salads, wings, burgers, and more! Some of our favorites are the Toasted Ravioli, Carolyn’s Bacon Wrapped Jalapenos, the Tavern Favorite pizza, and the Bone-In Wings with their signature sauces.

If there’s anything we love more than ice cream, it’s donuts. At this hidden gem on the edge of Lower Greenville you can get donuts stuffed with ice cream! It’s amazing! MILK•CREAM is one of our favorite ice cream shops in Dallas. We recommend trying the glazed bun with Cookie Monster.
Whether you’re looking for a romantic date night or a nice dinner with your friends, Urbano Cafe will not disappoint. It’s super cute and cozy American/Italian neighborhood restaurant with live jazz music every Tuesday night from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. We recommend trying the Caprese S’mores or their Braised Boneless Short Ribs as an appetizer, followed by their Parmesan Chicken, the Pistachio Crusted Texas Redfish, the Beef Tenderloin, or their Pesto Chicken. Bonus: You can bring your own favorite bottle of wine.
Thanks-Giving Square is a little hidden oasis tucked away in the center of Dallas. There’s water flowing throughout the whole park which makes it very relaxing. If you’re looking for a place to relax after work to read a book, meet some friends, or somewhere to spend your lunch break in peace, this is the perfect park for you!
Make sure to visit The Chapel of Thanksgiving, located at the back of the park. The stained glass windows on the inside create such a magical place.

Hunky’s in an old-fashioned diner serving classic American diner favorites, including hamburgers, patty melts, sandwiches, hot dogs, shakes, and more. If you’re looking for an authentic diner experience with retro vibes this 1984s favorite is the perfect place to go.
Did you know that Musume has a hidden speakeasy in the back? Akai is an intimate Japanese-inspired lounge located behind the kitchen of Musume. The whole space is decked out in red, from the tiles behind the bar, to the velvet banquets and décor pieces. Akai’s cocktails menu features ten Asian-inspired cocktails.
