Many places throughout the city are starting to incorporate mocktails into their drink menu. Bar Botanico is a modern bar located in the Lawrenceville neighborhood. This chic counter has a variety of non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. They feature Mexican Coke, Diet Coke, and Pellegrino. Bar Botanico also has house-made ginger beer, citrus soda, and lemonade! 

In addition, Bar Botanico is serving three signature mocktails: Lavender Honey Lemonade, Hibiscus Grapefruit Spritz, and Cucumber Mint Spritz. This cocktail bar in Lawrenceville is definitely worth a visit to try some new mocktails in Pittsburgh!

Located just outside the city, Alta Via is a comfortable modern Italian restaurant. They are well-known for their California-inspired Italian cuisine paired with the perfect wine, but they are breaking into the mocktail space as well! 

They feature a variety of zero-proof cocktails such as the Garden Tonic, the Cosmo-Not, and the Lavender Bee’s Knees. The Cosmo-Not would be our non-alcoholic drink of choice, featuring seedlip grove, Dhōs Orange, lime, and cranberry. It’s definitely worth the drive to check out Alta Via!

In the heart of the cultural district you’ll find Bridges & Bourbon, a contemporary venue that prides itself on an experience that is both interactive and social. They have a unique outdoor seating environment, with intimate Domes that can be reserved for a group. 

Bridges & Bourbon has a full mocktail menu, featuring drinks called “Avoid the Blackout,” “Mellow Mule,” “Puppy Love,” and more! Our drink of choice, though, would have to be “The Cocoon.” It is described by Bridges & Bourbon as “The Butterfly Effect that’s just not old enough,” and is a mixture of butterfly tea, grapefruit, light ginger, and lemon. This unique dining experience, paired with any of Bridges & Bourbon’s delicious zero-proof cocktails, is sure to make a night to remember. Bridges & Bourbon is definitely one of our favorite places to grab mocktails in Pittsburgh!

Kaya’s mocktails include a Blood Orange Hibiscus “Cosmo-Not,” Grapefruit Basil Smash, Island Breeze, and a “No-Jito.” A favorite is the “Island Breeze,” which features seedlip spice, hibiscus simple syrup, pineapple, mango, cranberry, and guava. In terms of non-alcoholic refreshers, Kaya serves Fever Tree (grapefruit soda, ginger beer, and tonic), Kaya Juice, Jarrito Mexican Sodas, Saratogas, and Colas.
