1. Oceanfront Park

Kick back and take in the views of where the sky meets the sea – Moana-style – at Oceanfront Park! Relax and appreciate a stunning view. Get active with a friendly outdoor sport. Let your kids explore a playground. Traverse sand dunes, picnic with loved ones, and do so much more at Oceanfront Park. From waterfront views to sand volleyball courts, this park offers so much to love!

2. Cradle Creek Preserve

Venture under large, sturdy trees among the shadows of dancing leaves while exploring Cradle Creek Preserve! Across 43.3-acres of primarily undisturbed land lives a beautiful network of nature trails! Provided raised boardwalks create an ideal observation platform to witness and learn about Florida’s natural wildlife! On your exploration, you can discover various birds, numerous plants, endangered species, and more. To top it all off, Cradle Creek also has a kayak and canoe landing pier! So you can tour the preserve out on the water!

3. Gonzales Park

For a fun family day, head on out to Gonzales Park! This family-friendly Jacksonville Beach park offers adventurous playground equipment – suitable for any child’s imaginary world – sheltered picnic areas, grills, and outdoor recreation spaces! We love a good family gathering and bbq, and Gonzales Parks makes for a perfect outdoor location! This park also provides an ideal spot for outdoor sports with its two ball fields and basketball court.

4. Paws Dog Park

Speaking of family-friendly parks, we can’t forget the most adorable family member… our PUPPIES! Of course, we couldn’t have a list of the best parks in Jacksonville Beach without including a park for our dogs! Paws Dog Park provides a membership playground for dogs and their owners. They’ve got designated areas for large and small dogs, so your pup can find a similar-sized pal for their playdate! 5. Rotary Park
