2. Jacobs Well Natural Area

Jacobs Well has crystal clear waters that make for the perfect, yet chilly, plunge.ย  You also might come across an underwater cave! Be sure to make a reservation before heading out to Wimberley, because Jacobs Well is a spot known and loved by many.ย

5. Hamilton Pool Preserve

The natural pool was first created when an underground river’s roof caved in. Now, this beautiful pool is one of the hottest spots to hang out.

Swimming conditions are dependent on recent rainfall, so make sure to call ahead to ensure the pool will be open.

10. Lost Creek

There is a hike to find this swimming pool, but it’s super easy to do and so worth it at the end.

The Lost Creek swimming hole is only 15 minutes from downtown, and has free parking in the nearby neighborhoods. The trail begins underneath the bridge and continues for about 20 to 25 minutes. It’s definitely a party vibe with music playing while people are enjoying time in the pool.
