Black-owned businesses account for only 2.4% of all business in the United States. Yet, these businesses generate over a million dollars in revenue each year. Over 20,000 days ago Dr. Martin Luther King said, “Now is the time to lift our nation from the quicksands of racial injustice to the solid rock of brotherhood. Now is the time to make justice a reality for all of God’s children.”
The world is experiencing a new normal. It’s common to not wear pants to work because who can see your bottoms on a zoom call anyways. Marketing now requires influencers. Gen Z keeps shaking their hips to “Crank That” by Solider Boy on app named after the sound of a clock. Millennials can’t afford housing. And for the first time in America, Black hair is being legalized. The world is shifting, and we all feel it. Despite the changes that continue to occur, this fact remains the same: that we are all connected. We all need each other to grow.
Connecting the World Through Events is our Mission. Events are where we bond around common interests and experience life together. Together. No matter the color of our skin. Together. Together, we can build a new future, a new normal. Fractures can be repaired. We hope that you find joy in connecting with one another.
