One of our favorite options for cheap dates is a visit to the art museum! Explore beautiful works of art at the Blanton Museum, where you can see visiting exhibits and their permanent collections. Admission is fairly reasonable: $12 for adults, $10 for seniors (65+) and $5 for youth and college ID holders. If you attend on Thursdays, admission is always free! With your ticket, gain access to Ellsworth Kelly’s “Austin” exhibit. If you fall under categories of member, UT ID holders, children 12 and under, military, or teacher with valid ID, admission is free any day! See so many different types of modern & contemporary art, Latin American art, prints and illustrations, and 360 virtual tours.

General admission for adults starts at $5 and is discounted at $3 (with ID) for military, seniors, locals and students. Solar viewing tickets go for $5 across the board.
