Cinco de Mayo is the annual celebration and anniversary of the Mexican Army’s victory over the French, at the Battle of Puebla. It’s not to be mistaken for Mexico’s Independence. It is, however, a joyful moment for fun festivities!

Armadillo Den will have plenty of drink specials to help celebrate Cinco de Mayo. Specials will be available all day–including margaritas, tequila shots and Mexican candy shots. Rising Tejano-Pop singer Ashley Borrero will take the stage from 8-10 pm. Ashley was crowned “Tejano Idol” in 2011, and her songs have been played on various radio stations including Austin’s KOKE.
