Pangea Alchemy Lab is a speakeasy style cocktail bar, the first craft cocktail lounge in Sarasota. This spot creates custom cocktails using fresh juice, local citrus, and flavorful syrups made in-house. We love that their drinks menu changes with each season, so there is always something new to try! They also have snacks and small plates made by the chefs at their sister restaurant – Melange – which also has a big focus on supporting local farmers and ingredients.
The space at Pangea Alchemy Lab is very hip and follows the theme of their bar’s name. With a science lab theme, the interior is adorned warm light shining through glass beakers and flasks. Serving as the perfect setting for having drinks with some friends, we recommend their Vanilla Chai cocktail or their Gas Mask shot – where you will get cut off from drinking after an hour by the bartenders, just by how strong the drink is!

You should definitely try one of their daily specialty cocktails listed on their chalkboard above the bar! This will be the bartender’s creative concoction of the day, a great option if you like to try something fresh and new. Try their Mezcal cocktail with their yummy duck appetizer!

Jack Dusty is a trendy restaurant and cocktail bar lounge located in the Sarasota Ritz Carlton hotel. We love their nautical themed space and their Instagram worthy cocktails! This is the perfect spot to catch up with friends at the bar and enjoy some super cute drinks with ice creations and flavor combinations. We recommend their tropical Mai Tai; it is great to see a luxury spin on a cocktail classic! The Siren Cocktail is a must try as well, as it was featured on the Forbes Bucket List – with 4oz of liquor for $25 in a huge goblet style wine glass.
Service at Jack Dusty is top notch, as it is held to the Ritz Carlton standards. This is a great spot for dinner dates as well, with hearty meals like steaks, Salmon Crudo and Grouper Fish and Chips.
