Located on 6th Street, Esther’s Follies offers downtown Austin some comedic gold. This forty-year-old comedy troupe has hit icon status with shows five times a week and consistent sold-out audiences, and has been hailed as “Austin’s answer to Saturday Night Live.” Acts typically incorporate magic, juggling, singing dancing, and sketches on current events.

Plus, during the pandemic, Austin’s #1 Comedy Troupe has featured daily doses of sketch comedy, political satire, and award-winning magic, calling it “Your Daily Dose of Esther’s Follies.” For a taste of what they have to offer, check out their website for digital videos, podcast interviews, At home with the Cast Cameos, and classic videos from the Follies archives.
