There are several great farm-to-table brunch and dinner inspired restaurants in Austin, but Odd Duck is at the forefront! We recommend taking your date here for a scrumptious Sunday morning brunch or casual happy hour bites.

Our team just had to add Eberly to the list of romantic restaurants for a date night on South Lamar, as it has quickly become a popular spot for a night out. The atmosphere and environment are filled with an open concept space, an open-air patio, and a beautiful dining room with a mixture of new-age and old-school style.
This is the perfect place to share a delicious classic cocktail with your date while you dine! From filet, braised short rib, snapper, and delicata squash. Come to Ramen Tatsu-Ya and slurp your noodles as you indulge in a bowl of delicious, rich, decadent flavorful ramen. This place is one of the top restaurants for ramen in Austin and is perfect for people who enjoy fellowship over some good classic food.
The owners serve the good stuff, the type of ramen that you can normally only find in Japan and New York, right here on South Lamar. Just imagine savory pork bone broth, noodles, chasu, ajitama, and of course a multitude of topping options to add to your ramen. If it is your date’s first time coming, we recommend the Tonkotsu Original, a classic and popular favorite. If you love quirky and intimate home décor, you will surely love Aviary Wine & Kitchen! It’s the cutest place with some of the yummiest food. This restaurant is French- and Mediterranean-inspired, but it’s rooted in seasonal Texas ingredients.
We recommend the sweet potato gnocchi which is tossed in a very light lemon and butter sauce which makes way for salty slices of fried pork belly. Pair a delicious glass of wine with the Aviary Cheese & Charcuterie, a huge cheese, pastrami and meet arrangement with house mustard, cherry tomato jam, black truffle, and peach butter.

Enjoy the perfect date at Barlata, a Spanish restaurant. Dine distinctive dishes with many delicious options to choose from. If you and your partner want to try something new, we definitely recommend this restaurant.
Our favorite dish is the “Gambas Al Ajillo.” It’s marinated adobo shrimp sauteed with garlic. It’s their house favorite, and if we love it, we know you will too.
