Are you looking for the best dog-friendly restaurants and patios in Dallas?! We love exploring the city with our furry friends. That’s why we’ve created a list of our favorite dog-friendly restaurants in Dallas for you so that you can enjoy a fun day out without leaving your best buddy at home. 

Whether you’re looking for a great place to hang out after a walk with your dog, a fun beer garden, a lush green patio space with lots of shaded areas and water bowls, or an off leash dog park and beer garden where your dog can run around and have time of his life, there’s something for everyone to enjoy! 

Katy Trail Ice House is probably the most iconic dog-friendly restaurant in Dallas. It’s located in Uptown Dallas right off Katy Trail, which makes it the perfect destination after a walk with your furry friend. Water bowls will be served and the large, shady trees provide perfect coverage from the Texas heat. Whether it’s summer or winter time, Katy Trail Ice House is the perfect place for you and your dog to hang out and socialize with your friends. We love getting their Ice House Quesadillas and their Summer Beer.

You’ve never been to Truck Yard?! This is your call to add it to your dog-friendly restaurant bucket list. Truck yard is a come-as-you are beer garden and adult playground that is super dog-friendly. Your furry friend is going to have the best time playing with all the other pups there. They have a variety of food trucks every day, live music, and delicious drinks.

3. Toller Patio

Toller Patio on Ross is such a fun place to be. We love coming to this dog-friendly restaurant in Dallas. Their colorful patio is always full of puppy love. Grab a drink and a bite, or snag a spot anywhere on the patio and catch a game from one of our 17 big screen TVs while your dog enjoys one of their Pupsicles.

If you’re looking for a place to bring your dog, you’re going to love Son of  Butcher. They are a super dog-friendly restaurant in Dallas. They have a beautiful patio with lots umbrellas, cute benches, water bowls, and fun murals! Their patio is the perfect place to enjoy some time with your pup while grabbing some delicious sliders. We recommend trying their TX Philly and PB&J sliders.

📍 Son of a Butcher | 2026 Greenville Ave, Dallas, Texas, 75206

Chelsea Corner is a great place to cheer on your favorite sport teams on one of their 21 large screens, but did you know that their 2,500 square foot patio is dog-friendly as well?! Their lush, green backyard hosts cozy couches, high tables, picnic tables and shady umbrellas to stay cool with your pooch! We love coming here for brunch on the weekends or for happy hour to relax after a long day of work. Some of our favorites are their Casamigos Scratch Margaritas, the MT’s Chicken Sandwich, and the Spinach Artichoke Dip.

La La Land Cafe is a really cute and super Instagrammable coffee shop off Greenville Avenue. They make really delicious lattes and we love getting their avocado toast. If La La Land isn’t already one of your favorite spots too, we’re sure it will be when you hear they are actually dog-friendly. They have their own mini dog park for your pup to hang out and make new friends while you grab a cub of coffee.

7. Mutt's Canine Cantina

Mutt’s Canine Cantina is an off leash dog park and beer garden in Uptown. It’s the perfect place to spend the day with your pup and all your furry friends! Did you know that Mutt’s also has pawty packages for your dog’s birthday, plus fun dog-friendly events over the course of the year like yoga and Mutts Movie Nights?! Yappy hour at Mutt’s is daily till 6pm. Get $4 drinks and $3 doggie treats. They serve pupsicles and doggie dogs. 

Go for Yappy Hour before 6 pm for $3 drink specials!
