St. Petersburg is one of the most dog friendly neighborhoods in Tampa Bay! Whether you are looking for a new spot to bring Fido or just want to do some dog watching, keep reading for the best dog friendly restaurants in St. Pete. 

Like the name suggests, the Dog Bar is a unique combination of an off leash dog park and a full service bar.   The dog park is over 4,500 square feet of fenced off-leash fun for your pup, designed with Astroturf for a cleaner and more comfortable play surface. The Dog Bar is all about the dogs and requires all doggy patrons to have a membership to help ensure that all of the pups are healthy and nonaggressive.

As the initials suggest, PAW is one of the most dog friendly breweries in St. Pete. Their mission is to brew doggone good beer and give back to the community by hosting events benefitting Pinellas County animal related charities. Our favorite of their beers is the Milk Bone. This sweet stout is the beer version of a café con leche!

Ferg’s is one of St. Pete’s largest sports bars, encompassing nearly two city blocks with over 90+ TVs and a dog park. Yes, you read that correctly, a sports bar with a dog park! Ferg’s Dog Park and Grill has an fenced area and a dog chow menu specifically for your pup.

Red Mesa Mercado brings the urban drive-by dining style unique to the streets of Southern California and Mexico to St. Pete. Their quick, fresh take-out style Mexican food is a must try. The covered patio makes for the perfect outing with Fido!

The outdoor beer garden at Green Bench Brewing is the ultimate spot to enjoy a craft beer with your pup. They welcome pups, but ask that they remain on their leash. While at Green Bench Brewing, we recommend trying one of their light, refreshing beers, like the Sunshine City IPA.

If you’re craving Italian, Bella Brava is the spot for you! Their large outdoor space welcomes your dog companion and even brings out a bowl of water an Bella Brava branded bone for them.

3 Daughters Brewing is one of the most fun breweries in St. Pete! Their massive outdoor space often hosts live music and other fun events. 3 Daughters loves when you bring your four-legged friends!

Parkshore Grill is one of the only upscale dog friendly restaurants in St. Pete. They have a specific Doggy Dining area with water bowls. While at Parkshore Grill, definitely give one of their steaks or fresh seafood dishes a try!
