These parking spots are ideal for when you’re looking to spend a day hanging out in the Burg, or for those bar-hopping nights when you’ll need an Uber home.

Beach Drive

Beach Drive is where all the action happens from dining at top-notch restaurants, enjoying live jazz music, or simply taking a romantic stroll in and out of the shops along the way. The parking on Beach Drive is street parking, with paid meters. You might get lucky with a great parking spot, but this busy street is typically hit or miss! The Birchwood on Beach Drive offers valet parking as well.

Pro tip: Download the ParkMobile app to pay for the meter on your phone and not have to worry about going back to add more time!

📍 Beach Dr NE, St. Petersburg, FL

Sundial Parking Garage

The Sundial Parking Garage is in the heart of it all. From here you can walk over to the Sundial to shop or have dinner. Our favorite dinner spots at Sundial are Ruth’s Chris Steak House and Seasalt. Beach Drive is also a short walking distance which is ideal for happy hour or visiting a museum. You can also walk over to Central Ave to hit up the bars.

With validation from a Sundial merchant, pricing is $1 for the first 4 hours and $1 for each additional hour with a $7 maximum. If you are not visiting the mall, parking is $1/hour with a $7 maximum. If you’re going to see a movie at Muvico Sundial Theaters, be sure to show your parking garage entry ticket to the box office to receive a discount on your movie ticket!

Street Parking

Beyond the parking garages, there’s street parking nearly on everywhere in Downtown St. Pete. Depending on the time of day, you may get lucky with a spot right in front of the place you’re going. On busier nights, it may take a few trips up and down the street.

The parking rates vary across the downtown area but rates and limits are stated on each meter.

A huge win is when you come across a meter that’s free on the weekends and nighttime! We recommend downloading the ParkMobile App to pay right from your phone and you’ll also get a notification when your parking is going to expire.

Al Lang Parking Surface Lot

Al Lang Parking Surface Lot is a convenient parking lot with over 300 spots and its open 24/7. The entrance to the lot is on 1st Ave South between 1st Street and BayShore Boulevard.

Their daily rate is $5 where you can pay either at the pay station or through the ParkMobile App.

This spot is great if you’re going to hang around by the water or Beach Drive. We’d recommend parking here if you’re looking to rent a Coastal Bike to ride along the Bay and even up to the New St. Pete Pier!
