Whether you’re looking to unwind after work, enjoy the day or evening with friends, even your pup, stop by one of our favorite places. Our Ultimate Guide to East Austin Breweries will help you find your fave too!

Zilker Brewing Company and Tap Room

One of the must-visit East Austin breweries is Zilker Brewing Company and Tap Room, an East 6th hotspot with incredible beer and access to the Spicy Boys food truck on its patio space. Especially when the sun is out, you’ll find large crowds enjoying the quality, refreshing craft brews. Plus, you can grab a six pack on your way out to bring this iconic beer home so the good times never end!

A popular neighbor of Zilker Brewing Company is Lazarus Brewing Company, a huge spot that’s perfect for meeting up with friends, getting work done, and eating tacos! This East Austin favorite is a fantastic blend of work and pleasure, especially with its awesome patio space to enjoy.

? Batch - Craft Beer and Kolaches

Batch Brewhouse

Craft beer and Czech-style kolaches, a unique combination that totally works at Batch Brewhouse. This taproom and retail craft beer store is a one-of-a-kind experience that you and your friends need to try! Grab a kolache featuring Micklethwait and a craft beer and enjoy the casual atmosphere.

Hi Sign Brewing

Bringing your pup along? We recommend Hi Sign Brewing. This veteran-owned, local craft brewery features a taproom and outdoor beer garden perfect for a casual afternoon or evening with friends. Located by the airport, this is a great spot to grab a world class beer before or after a long flight, or to show your out-of-town friends that come to visit!

Austin Eastciders Collaboratory - Taproom

We absolutely love Austin Eastciders because not only are all the ciders extra delicious but so is the food menu! Hand us a few Mango Mimosa Light Ciders and a The Capitol pizza, we’ll be MORE than ok. Not into drinking? How about a Matcha Latte or Rishi Chai?! Did we mention that their patio is kid and dog friendly too?

Guide to East Austin Breweries
? Southern Heights Brewing Co

Southern Heights Brewing Company

Of course, we had to include Southern Heights Brewing Company in our Guide to East Austin Breweries! It’s our fave because the beer like Jam Session (crushable raspberry sour) and Where’s My Flannel keep flowing. The taproom has such a chill and laid-back environment, you’ll want to keep coming for more brewskis.

Koko’s Bavarian

Prost to our favorite German Texan Brewery and Biergarten, Koko’s Bavarian. Named after the Prince of Bavarian, you yourself will feel like a royal after you’ve indulged in the delicious brews made on site. You’ll want to keep chugging down those Koko’s Lager as you savor those Potato Pancakes.
