You can’t beat traditional fried chicken with all of the best sides! Frenchy’s Chicken has Fried Chicken meals large and small to accommodate your needs as well as sides like collard greens and red beans & rice that pair so well with crispy fried chicken!
Frenchy’s also offers boudin, po boys, and of course fried catfish. You can’t go wrong at this favorite spot of ours.
Kick it up a little with some hot chicken from Mico’s Hot Chicken! Mico’s puts a spicy spin on fried chicken in Houston and we are here for it! Inspired by Nashville’s famous hot chicken, Mico’s has made this dish just for us Houstonians, and it doesn’t disappoint.
You can of course get their traditional hot chicken sandwich, but you should definitely pair it with some loaded waffle fries and a blueberry lemonade!
Lucille’s definitely knows how to do this southern favorite right! Their “Yardbird” is slow fried with a side of collard greens and honey-spiced gravy. If you haven’t had fried chicken from Lucielle’s, you are absolutely missing out!
Be sure to get a side of their truffled Brussel sprouts and cornbread to get the ultimate southern comfort meal!
Get brunch all week long at the Breakfast Klub! Not only does Breakfast Klub have a great breakfast and brunch, but their fried chicken and waffles are fire!
You can pair their chicken with waffles, french toast, or pancakes, but we think you should try it all three ways! Oh, and did we mention, you can get their waffle and pancake mix, seasoning, and koating so you can make chicken and waffles at home, too!
La Lucha offers. a wide variety of eats like oysters on the half shell, some southern comforts with a Mexican twist, and of course fried chicken! This Houston spot offers golden fried chicken served with pickles and fluffy biscuits.
Pair your Fried chicken with some deviled eggs and crawfish mac & cheese. Wash it all down with a You’re Welcome for the perfect meal!
Grace’s on Kirby is another of our favorite places to get fried chicken in Houston. Randi’s Fried Chicken is the traditional choice and is served with black-eyed peas or Chicken Fried Chicken with cream gravy, mashed potatoes, and of course black-eyed peas.

Gus’s World Famous Fried Chicken is a favorite all over the country, but especially in Houston. You can’t beat their plates that will satisfy any family. Not only do they have delicious fried chicken, but they have some bomb appetizers, too! Who doesn’t love Fried Green Tomatoes and Fried Okra?!
Round out your meal with something sweet from their dessert menu like the Pecan or Coconut Cream pie!
Max’s Wind Dive is always one of our favorites for brunch, but. did you know they have delicious fried chicken, too? Max’s Famous Fried Chicken is gluten-free and full of flavor! Their chicken is marinated in jalapeno buttermilk to give it a little kick and served with either hot sauce or honey-chipotle sauce to give it that sweet and savory flavor profile we all love!
