See Dallas from a bird’s eye view atop the Reunion Tower. Check their website for special events and monthly specials. It is a win for cheap and fun stuff to do in Dallas. Another beautiful park venue for an outing is the Klyde Warren Park. Pack a blanket and picnic lunch and enjoy the greenery. The park is unique in that it spans a 5-acre green space built over the 8-lane freeway in the middle of the arts district in downtown Dallas. There are 322 trees and 37 types of native plant species. Hungry? Check out their famous food trucks that line the entire park. The McKinney Avenue Trolley is a great way to explore the area, and add to amazing fun stuff to do in Dallas. The McKinney Avenue Trolley is more than 5 miles of tracks to get you around Uptown and parts of Downtown Dallas. including popular stops like Klyde Warren Park and the Uptown Station. It’s such a fun and family-friendly activity that we highly recommend. While the ride on the Trolley is free you can make a donation while entering.
