Sphinx Virtuosi is a chamber orchestra comprised of the nation’s top Black and Latinx orchestral musicians. They champion diversity in classical music, performing works by lesser-known composers of color alongside the music of Bach and Mozart. On October 14, 2021, they are scheduled to perform a program of Cuban and gospel music. For music-lovers, getting tickets to their concert is an ideal way to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. You’ll be supporting an important cause, and you may even discover a new favorite composer or musical work.
