When making plans to attend these restaurants, eat a light breakfast or lunch beforehand so that you’ll have plenty of room for all of the delicious Korean food. From Korean BBQ to Kimchi fried rice, there is guaranteed to be something you will enjoy. Here are 5 fantastic Korean restaurants in Atlanta:

There is almost nothing as satisfying than late-night Korean food when you’re absolutely yearning for it. Seo Ra Beol utilizes a charcoal grill to prepare their traditional Korean BBQ and serves items such as the prime rib eye, brisket, and marinated short rib. If you are not necessarily in the mood for barbecue, the Korean spot also offers other menu items such as soups and noodle entrees.

Rather than utilizing modernized electric table grills, 9292 Korean BBQ opts for a charcoal grill as well. Although the difference between the two grills may not be a huge issue to some customers, die-hard Korean cuisine fans know that charcoal grills provide the entrees with a distinct flavor that can only be obtained with charcoal grills. Past customers of the restaurant state that their sides are always amazing, and recommend sampling combo A and starting with the pork belly and bulgogi.

Jang Su Jang has remained a staple of Korean eateries in Atlanta for over a decade and is well-known for its authentic, delicious Korean food. Speaking of authenticity, some hail Jang Su Jang as the best Korean restaurant in Atlanta simply because of their genuine nature. If you’re planning on stopping by on a weekend, expect there to be a line waiting before you arrive.

Fri–Sun | 10am–9pm

Sun and Moon Cafe is a Korean tavern or pub where fans of spicy food go to get their kick. Locals are prone to keeping this diamond in the rough hidden from tourists and new customers alike as it is their hidden gem. When you finally have time to swing by, make sure you try their infamous apple fritters!

If you are like us and love fried chicken, this spot is an absolute must. Thank U Chicken is located in Duluth, and serves some of the best Korean fried chicken that you’re going to find here in Atlanta. Despite it being a bit of a drive up north, their infamous spicy sauce fried chicken is every bit of worth it. The spot is a tad on the pricier side, with half-chickens starting at about $23 with tax, however the taste and serving size make the entree worth every penny!
