Looking for fun parks in downtown Dallas? Klyde Warren Park is the place-to-be! There’s always something going on. Klyde Warren Park has a huge green space, a playground, a dog park, water features, and lots of seating opportunities. Local food trucks will be in the park Monday through Friday from 11AM-3PM and Saturday and Sunday nights from 11AM-8PM. They have workout classes during the summer months, movie screenings, markets, concerts, and so much more. Best of all, it is all for free!

Looking for parks that are the perfect combination of artsy, nature, and urban? West End Square embodies the essence of downtown Dallas while still honoring the presence of nature. This is one of our favorite parks in downtown Dallas to cozy up with a good book, or bring your food from a local downtown restaurant. Enjoy the view of the infamous skyscrapers, and get your daily dose of vitamin green!
Sneak away from the hustle and bustle of your everyday life when you enter one of the most peaceful parks in downtown Dallas. Thanks-Giving Square is a little oasis tucked away in the center of Dallas. There’s water flowing throughout the whole park which makes it very relaxing. If you’re looking for a place to relax after work to read a book, meet some friends, or somewhere to spend your lunch break in peace, this is the perfect park for you!
Make sure to visit The Chapel of Thanksgiving, located at the back of the park. The stained glass windows on the inside create such a magical place.
Main Street Garden park is the perfect place to hang around and have fun! It’s one of the best family-friendly parks in downtown Dallas. You can have a picnic or play games on the great lawn, let your toddler run around in the play area, take your dog to the dog park, cool off in the fountains, have a ping pong match or beat your friends and foosball, and look at the different art displays through the park. Sick of your home office? Move your office to the outdoors! The park is equipped with Wi-Fi and has lots of seating that also includes tables.
While this made not be your typical park, it has definitely has a big green space and lot’s of fun things to do! The AT&T Discovery District is one of the newest additions to downtown Dallas. The area features a beer garden, a food hall with 16+ restaurants and a bar, lots of outdoor seating, the Globe, which looks amazing when it lights up at night, and so much more! It’s so much fun!

Civic Garden Park is located right in the center of downtown Dallas. The park offers a big green space with lots of trees, flowers, and an interactive fountain. If you’re looking for a place to have a nice walk at, or somewhere to relax and sit in the shade, you’ll love Civic Garden Park.
Pegasus Plaza is located at the corner of main and Akard, next to the Magnolia Hotel. The plaza takes its name from Pegasus, the iconic sign atop the adjacent Magnolia Hotel. While you won’t find much green space here, the park stand out with its calming water installations. Pegasus Plaza is home to concerts and other commuity events.
Does a trip to downtown Dallas even count if you haven’t stopped by the Giant Eyeball? Located right outside the Joule hotel, the Giant Eyeball is the perfect backdrop for your next Instagram shot. The green space in front of the Eye is often used as a venue for special events. Definitely keep your *eye on this attraction.
Carpenter Park is one of the newest parks in downtown Dallas. It’s a great place to visit if you are wanting to mix nature with your daily workout routine! This park doubles as a recreation center, which is friendly for all ages! Here you can partake in the many recreational activities like gymnasiums, indoor pools, and fully decked out workout rooms!
You can find Pacific Plaza at the corner of N. Harwood Street and Pacific Avenue. The park features a huge pavilion with some seating below it, a big green space, fun swing sets, and so much more! If you’re looking for a place to take your kids to, have your dog run around at, or the perfect place to enjoy a weekend picnic, you’re going to love Pacific Plaza. The pavilion also looks great in pictures.
