Trinity Groves has a new concept that you don’t want to miss! Meet Temakeria, Dallas’ first 2D restaurant. This Japanese restaurant is serving temaki style sushi, sashimi, ramen, and more. One of their signature cocktails is made with matcha and corn milk. This unique new spot is officially opening May 16th.
Crown Block is officially open. Wine and dine while enjoying an amazing 360° view of the Dallas skyline on the 18th floor of the Reunion Tower. Crown Block’s menu includes a variety of steak, seafood, and plant-based options, featuring ingredients from regional farms, ranches, and the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy Prime Beef, Texas and Japanese Wagyu, fresh-made sushi, a dessert bar with pastry chefs in action, signature craft cocktails, and MORE! The Crown Room, located on the 17th floor, serves as Dallas’ newest event space & accommodates up to 250+ guests

The Harwood District has gained another gem. Meet Fig & Favor, now open on La Rue Perdue. Fig & Favor is a European-inspired market for daily essentials and favorites from around the Harwood District. Enjoy grab-and-go sandwiches, a full coffee menu, easy dinners to take home, a wine selection, and more!

White Rock Brewing Company is now open on Beckly Ave. Enjoy the beautiful weather on their spacious covered outdoor patio while sipping on taproom favorites, eating delicious pizzas, appetizers, and more! This spot is dog-friendly and also offers to-go and delivery options. Find plenty of ground level parking in the garage under the adjacent apartment building.
Komodo, the new, highly-anticipated hotspot is officially open! We got to join them for their grand opening last night. The menu offers delicious takes on Southeast Asian dishes with a global approach. Enjoy house favorites such as Salmon Tacos, Miso Chilean Seabass Skewers, Peking Duck, Daring Plant Based Kung Pao Chicken, a full sushi bar, and amazing custom cocktails. Komodo Dallas is Groot Hospitality first venue outside of Dallas, and it’s even bigger than the Miami location. The restaurant takes visual cues from its home base, including Komodo’s signature illuminated “bamboo” cutout columns and duck display windows.
Attention foodies! Sweetgreen just opened their new location in Addison. Stop by during your lunch break or pick up a healthy and nutritious dinner. Order one of their scratch-made menu items or customize your bowl however you like, there’s something the whole family will love. Some of our favorite menu items are the Harvest Bowl, Chicken Pesto Parm, Super Green Goddess, and the Crispy Rice Bowl.
Calling all cookie monsters! United Kingdom’s original, Ben’s Cookies is now open in Snider Plaza! Find a variety of cookies from chocolate praline to coconut and white chocolate! What makes Ben’s cookies special is that they use chocolate chunks instead of chocolate chips which makes the cookies so much more delicious. All their cookies are baked fresh daily.

Evan’s Meat Market is now open in Highland Park! If you are looking for premium meats Evan’s Meat market is the perfect place to go. The have a variety of high quality meats ranging from beef, pork, chicken, sausages, and more. Make sure to also try their delicious ready-made dishes and sides. Their Po’boy are a must-try and are the perfect lunch to or dinner to grab on the go.
Have you ever been to a cat café? Whiskers and Soda is now open in Lake Highlands. Enjoy a cup of coffee while snuggling the cats. Founded by a couple that owns a non profit cat rescue, Whiskers and Soda’s mission is to bridge the gap between fur-babies looking for their purrfect homes, and those wishing to grow their family. Make sure to book your visit online to assure your spot. Walk-In rates for adults are $16/hr and $8/hr for kids. You can choose between their monthly membership or a single visit. All funds go towards the non profit or the cat café.
We have some great news! Leela’s Wine Bar officially opened another location in Uptown Dallas. Get your girls together and enjoy their new spring cocktail menu, a variety of wines of tap, light bites, pizzas, and more. Enjoy lunch a dinner at this new spot Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Attention pizza lovers! Pizza Leila is now open in the Arts District. You might know them from operating as a ghost kitchen out of Sloane’s Croner. Now they officially have their own space where you can enjoy authentic Sicilian-style pizza seven days a week. Pizza Leila has been awarded Best Pizza in 2021 by D Magazine. Order a whole pizza of grab one of their $5 slices to go while strolling through downtown Dallas.
La Parisienne French Bistro is now open at The Star in Frisco! Perfect for any occasion, this new spot offers a variety of craft cocktails, brunch, lunch, and dinner options, and of course an huge selection of champagne. Join them for happy hour Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 6:00pm. We tried the Warm Brie Baguette and it was super delicious.

Fortune House is known for their authentic Shanghai cuisine and their famous handmade soup dumplings. Their menu features a variety of sharable options. Arwa Yemeni Coffee is officially open in Richardson. Experience in-house roasted Yemeni Coffee. Find culture in every cup featuring the Arwa blend of spices. One of our favorite menu items is the Tea and Coffee Sample that comes with two types of tea and coffee as well as delicious pastries.

The famous Chicago-based chain Portillo’s is now open in Texas with its first location being at Grandscape in The Colony. It’s a must drive and totally worth the drive! The menu features Chicago-style street food like hot dogs, sandwiches, burgers, shakes and more! Their class Chicago-style hotdog is topped with mustard, relish, celery salt, freshly chopped onions, sliced red ripe tomatoes, kosher pickle and sport peppers. It comes in a regular and jumbo size.

Lower Greenville has an exciting new culinary addition. Quarter Acre is a new restaurant that combines neighborhood flair with an upscale dining experience that is inspired by Chef Toby Archibald’s world travels and his home country New Zealand. Start off with some snacks including Fire-roasted Wagyu, Fish on Chips, before indulging in delicious main course options such as 48-Hour Beef Shortrib, Parmesan-buttered Grouper, Ricotta Gnudi, and more.
River Pig Saloon is now open in Lower Greenville! This neighborhood sports bar made its way down to Dallas all the way from Oregon. It’s the perfect spot to meet your friends and family to watch sports games while treating yourself to some delicious food and drinks. They have 5 cocktails, 3 wines, and 12 beers on tap. Some of our food favorites are the Hand Rolled Jalapeño Poppers, River Pig Nachos, Spicy Pepperoni Pizza, The Saloon’s Bison Burger, and the Hell’s Canyon Drumsticks.
Sweet Tooth Hotel and Girl Scout of Northeast Texas have partnered to launch a Girl Scout-inspired cocktail menu. The Sweet Tooth Hotel is the first authorized and official menu in Northeast Texas and it’s a must-try! Cocktail creations include Lemon Upper, Thicc Mint, Stanning Samoas, and more!
