Located on West Avenue in Downtown Austin, this neighborhood hangout is a classic American bar and restaurant for people who enjoy vintage aesthetics. Named after the the grandmother of one of their partners, Irene is a real southern dame who inspired Irene’s whole vibe. The head chef, Andrew Curren, specializes in American comfort food and strong cocktails that are served at a bar with a patio. The spacious patio is nestled beneath pecan trees on the banks of Shoal Creek. Definitely check out one of our favorite patios in downtown Austin at Irene’s and try their specialty biscuits and booze brunch that is served till 4!
