The ULTIMATE Game Day Plan If You’re Attending Q2 Stadium

Are you heading to Q2 Stadium to catch a game? You’ve come to the right place! UNATION Austin has all the awesome details and we’ve made a guide that’ll give you the full experience of everything the stadium has to offer. Get everyone together because it’s going to be a day full of fun! Who said game day only had to be about games?

Are you super pumped and excited for the game? Let’s get HYPE and pregame together! Don’t stick around at home when there’s plenty of bars and restaurants that’ll get you game day ready.

Here’s a list of our favorite local joints where we like to grab a drink or two before a game. From the Domain to the surrounding breweries, these are all in (kind of) a walking distance. They’re also great to catch that game at if you weren’t lucky enough to snag some tickets.

Plan accordingly as some of these locations are further away from the stadium. Luckily for you, we have some transportation options below in case you need to catch a ride from drinking!

This may be the only daunting task of the day. Trying to figure out transportation and parking in Austin is usually like that. That’s why we’re here to give you all the options before you start to Google search your way through it.

The first option is  as simple as driving there. You can attempt to drive directly to the stadium, but parking is very limited at the moment. Not to mention, some of the lots are a walk. If you’re up for it, you can park a little down the street as well and pay a small fee to park your car. There’s a couple of locations right within and around the Domain that are the most affordable options.

1. Green Garage ($5 shuttle to and from game)
2. Dicks Sporting Goods and Dillards Parking lot (free)
3. Key Bar (Parking + Drinks)

Another option is to just chill and have someone else drive you. Isn’t that nice when you’re pregaming! When you or your friends can’t, there’s a couple of other options we frequently use. Of course you probably do too, but ever considered taking the train. It’s cheap and sometimes you can park for free at the station as well.

Mostly everything at Q2 Stadium is all local food and you know how much the UNATION team loves Austin food! Here are the MUST TRY spots where you can pick up something before the game, or to take right to your seat. #delicious

Don’t settle for a beer you can pick up at your local grocery store. Support Austin and head over to the stadium beer hall (Yep, they have a beer hall!). There, you’ll find many local beers to choose from, as well as others if you’re more of a Michelob type or drinker. Here’s our recommendations for Texas beers though.
