Abe's Place Tap & Grill

Abe’s Place Tap & Grill is an Americana inspired restaurant, decorated with themed sports memorabilia.  Staying on theme, their spot is full of TVs that are always playing all of the latest games.

To go with your night out, they offer some great food and drinks.  Abe’s has been voted best wings in town, their secret being that they buy only the best and freshest chicken wings, never frozen.  Check out their Liquid Library as well!  They have about 44 craft and draft beers on tap, so you can try something new with every visit.  So come by Abe’s in Clearwater to catch a game with your friends!

Toucan's

Toucan’s Bar and Grill is a local Clearwater tavern serving burgers, seafood, sandwiches & other sports bar classics in their fun, no-frills bar.  We love that they source their ingredients using local farmers, so all of their dishes taste super fresh.

If you’re looking to watch the game, this spot has TVs and projectors everywhere. Whether it’s a UFC or a Boxing event, Toucan’s is the only spot on Clearwater beach that plays all of the popular pay-per-view fights.

We love their outside patio, but they also have inside dining for those rainy Florida days!  The local crowd here is lively and super friendly.  Not only is it a great place to watch a game, but also to bring a group for cocktails and to meet other sports lovers!

The Brown Boxer is a Clearwater pub chain, with two locations – one on North Clearwater Beach and one on South Clearwater Beach.  If you’re looking for a place to catch a game that still has a classy feel then The Brown Boxer is for you. We love this place for their amazing pub style food and appetizers.  We recommend the Short Rib Potato Skins, served with amazingly tender braised short rib.

Cooters

Cooters is a chill sports bar on Clearwater Beach with a great local feel.  Their outdoor patio is super cool, great for if you like to mix and mingle.  This spot specializes in seafood and wings, including some unbelievable deals.  Check out their all you can eat crab legs and their all you can eat wings deal!   You can also enjoy some deals while pregaming, with their daily happy hour from 3-6PM.

We recommend going for their seafood specials.  Their fresh oysters, stuffed mahi mahi, and Alaskan king crab are the perfect eats to have during a game.  Also, if you need a place that caters to your dietary needs, Cooters has a separate gluten-free menu!

Downtown Pizza Sports Bar and Grill

We love the combination of local pizza eatery and sports bar that Downtown Pizza offers the Clearwater area.  Pizza isn’t a usual option at sports bars, but it is a really fun twist!  Not only are there plenty of TVs to watch a game, but there are also occasional music acts – creating a lively atmosphere!

While their classic pizzas are great, they also offer some creative options.  We recommend their Philly Steak and Cheese pizza, with steak, onions, peppers, and mushrooms!  If you’re not feeling pizza, they also have classic Italian options like Chicken Marsala and Eggplant Parmigiana.  Their menu is super great for all ages, so if you have to bring the whole family along – Downtown Pizza is a must pick for you.
