Touchdown! Is what they say in football when they score, but it’s also what you’re about to say because we just scored you an awesome list of sports bars in Downtown St. Petersburg to catch the next game. Curious as to what they are? Read below to find out.

Hey, hey Champa Bay 👋

Get updates on upcoming games, watch parties, and sports news delivered right to your inbox!

Known for the $10 32oz drinks, Five Bucks Drinkery is the spot for a good time. Not to mention they have daily specials and happy hours. Your wallet will thank you for coming here to watch a game!

We recommend trying their freshly made naked wings, but if you’re in the mood for a sandwich then the Loaded Philly is the way to go.

Sunday–Saturday | 11:30AM–3AM

📍247 Central Ave North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

Inside of Five Bucks Drinkery,  you will come across their newest addition, The Garden. If you wander into this extension of Five bucks, you’ll find yourself in an enchanting garden where you can enjoy sparkling bubbles, creative cocktails, and the most intoxicating nightlife. The hours are different from Five Bucks so make sure you click below to get their hours.

We recommend trying the Grow a Pear and the Frozen Banana Hammock.

Thursday-Friday  | 7PM-3AM
Saturday-Sunday | 2PM-3AM
Monday-Wednesday | Closed

📍247 Central Ave North, St. Petersburg, FL 33701

One of our favorite sports bars in St. Pete is conveniently located next to the Trop. We love coming here with our furry friends and catching a game. No seat is a bad seat, because they have over 90 TVs!

We recommend trying their fried cheese ravioli with a cold glass of craft beer, but also check out their daily specials. There’s something different to look forward to each day of the week.

Monday–Friday | 11AM–12AM
Saturday-Sunday | 11AM–2AM

📍1320 Central Avenue, St Petersburg, FL 33705

Youth has no age at Park and Rec, and we take that very seriously there. Our favorite feature at this sports bar is the wide selection of games we can play while watching a game on the screen. Playing trash pong and watching Football makes for the perfect Sunday-funday.

We recommend ordering their Buff Chick pizza for an enhanced experience.

Monday | Closed
Tuesday–Friday | 5PM–3AM
Saturday–Sunday | 12PM–3AM

📍100 4th St. S., St Petersburg, FL 33701

The Avenue is a hop and a skip over from Park and Rec. If you want to bar hop during half time, this is a great spot to check out next! You can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, but we recommend starting off with a soft pretzel and enjoying a burger as the entree.

Monday–Thursday | 12PM–11PM
Friday | 12PM-LAST  CALL
Saturday | 11AM-LAST CALL
Sunday | 11AM–11PM

📍330 1st Ave S. St. Petersburg FL 33701

At Engine No. 9 you can find Tampa Bay’s best-rated burgers. We recommend coming here to watch a hockey game, because of their strong hockey vibes but any sport is welcomed!

Fun fact: the owner of this sports bar is the son of Tony Esposito and nephew of Phil Esposito who are both founders of the Tampa Bay Lightning team and hockey Hall of Famers.

If you come to watch a game here, you must order one of their famous prime beef burgers!

Sunday–Saturday | 11:30AM–12AM

📍56 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Street North, Saint Petersburg, FL 33705

Thirsty First is a down-to-earth venue with industrial brick-lined surrounds. They have daily drink and food specials, brunch, and happy hour.

We recommend trying their Grilled Shorty. It’s braised short rib, beer mac and cheese, and Sriracha sour cream served on Texas Toast. Yeah, we just drooled too!

Monday–Friday | 11AM–3AM
Saturday-Sunday | 10AM–3AM

📍119 First Ave. N. St. Petersburg, FL
