Griggs Park’s 8-acres are covered in lush grass and sporadic trees that provide shade for your new favorite picnic spot. One of our favorite date ideas in Dallas is to visit the Texas Discovery Gardens. The 7.5 acres of natural and adapted plant life are beautiful and a definite must-see. The two-story Rosine Smith Sammons Butterfly House and Insectarium are even better! Be transported to a tropical rainforest as you admire the hundreds of free-flying butterflies!
