This upscale Japanese inspired fusion spot is an authentic place for sushi in Dallas. The five spice duck leg confit is a small plates dinner menu fave along with the lunch bento boxes featuring sushi rolls. Too spicy? Cool down with a rising sun vodka cocktail or a white lychee sangria.
Hibiki Sushi offers a variety of rolls and traditional sushi items. From spicy tuna or salmon, to California rolls with veggies and sticky rice, the ingredients are fresh and plates are a good portion size. When looking for sushi in Dallas, try Hibiki Sushi in Deep Ellum. Their decor and atmosphere is on point.
Fun fact: Deep Sushi was the first restaurant to open up in Deep Ellum in 1996. For an appetizer, the ahi tower was our favorite, it was piled high with layers of rice, crab meat, fresh avocados, and ahi tuna topped with topiko ro. Four Japanese inspired soups and five salads are a good start before your lunch or dinner sushi combination platters.
Nori Handroll Sushi
Nori Handroll Sushi is one of the few sushi restaurants in Dallas to offer Omakase menus through a special reservation. At Nori Handroll Sushi they offer Temaki specials with witty names like; ‘Hangry’, ‘Starving’, and ‘I Could Eat’, along with the traditional nigiri and rolls. This sushi eatery is higher end and prides themselves on the freshest cuts of sushi.
